A Bright Start for Hiltonâs New SPARK Brand||We recently stayed at the SPARK Hotel in Lexington, KY (formerly a Quality Inn), and overall, we had a great experience. As a Lifetime Hilton Honors Diamond Member, this was my first stay with the new SPARK brand, and I was genuinely impressed by the value it delivered.||Positives:| ⢠Newly Remodeled: The renovations are impressive. The property has been thoughtfully updated and feels fresh and modern.| ⢠Excellent Staff: Adam and Mike at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cleaning and support staff were also courteous and attentiveâtrue standouts in hospitality.| ⢠Great Location: Just 1/4 mile off I-75, itâs a perfect stop for travelers looking for convenience.| ⢠Solid Amenities: Free WiFi, limited breakfast, and an indoor pool made the stay even more comfortable.| ⢠Clean & Peaceful Rooms: Our room was quiet, very clean, and offered a relaxing environment to unwind.||Opportunities for Improvement:| ⢠Some finishing touches from remodeling were missed (e.g., a loose toilet paper holder and visible ceiling patchwork in the hallway).| ⢠Room lighting was a bit harsh due to overly bright LED switches, and the curtains didnât fully block the morning sunâfuture guests may want to bring tape to dim the light switch panels.| ⢠Better signage would help guests find the pool and lobby more easily.| ⢠A bagel slicer in the breakfast area would be a welcome addition.| ⢠The parking lot could use resealing and restriping to better match the quality of the remodel.||Final Thoughts:||This SPARK location exceeded my expectations and represents a smart rebranding of older properties under Hiltonâs umbrella. Itâs clear theyâre investing in elevating economy lodging, and it shows. If youâre looking for comfort, convenience, and valueâthis is a great option. Iâll definitely consider SPARK again...

My dad booked this last minute for us over the phone. We confirmed with the lady on the phone (who was super sweet) that it would be alright if my friend and I stayed there without my dad being there. She said yes (Not even checking with a Superior) and we proceeded with the booking. I then noticed on the confirmation letter that it said, "Guests under the age of 21 will not have their reservations honored." So we called back. She said she would let her coworker know that night when we were to stay there that we were both under age and that Dad was not going to be with us.
Flash forward to the Friday night when we were supposed to check in. We arrived and I went in to handle the check in. I talked to another very nice lady and handed her my confirmation info. She asked to see my Credit Card or my ID. I showed her my ID and she said they could not honor our reservation. I called my Dad and handed the lady my Cell phone. She talked to him and told him what was going on. The lady we booked with (later found out she was only 3 weeks into her job there) talked to my dad as well, as he was super pissed. It was mainly because we needed someone over the age of 21 to sign the paperwork. I asked if I could have one of my friends (who was over 21) come and sign. They said no and that it has to be my Dad. They asked if he was there and I said, "No... he is 770 miles away in Nebraska." We went round and round.
Needless to say, we will not be staying there for quite sometime. We also found out the day of that we would have been in a king room instead of a two queen because they needed it for some...
Read moreFirst of all I would like to say that the front desk people were very kind, they did everything that they were supposed to do. Based off of the front desk, this survey deserves 10 Stars. However because of the cleaning staff they get two stars from me. My day started with driving 7 hours to Kentucky, that should've only taken 4 to 4 and a half hours if it was just me by myself. Needless to say, we arrived in Kentucky super late, so we had to go straight to the venue where we was performing that night. Long story short, we checked in late at the motel. As I said before front desk was awesome.... I'm Finally checked in and now able to go to bed after a long day, only to be awakened by, I'm going to assume housekeeping. The first knock on the door is at 8:30 asking "is anyone in here?" đ¤ I'm thinking isn't checked out at 11:00? Why are you knocking on my door this time of morning? Second Knock comes seconds later I thinkđ¤ not sure because "I'M TRYING TO SLEEP"đĄ. ....The voice ask "do you need housekeeping?" I said "no I'm still trying to sleep".....Then 36 minutes later, (I know this because I COULDN'T GO BACK TO SLEEP!!!!).... Someone else knocks on the door and ask "do you need towels?"...đ I'm like "I haven't gotten a chance to use them yet what are y'all doing?!?!... By then I'm so mad I got up. Because apparently and evidently to me they're trying to rush and put us out.... So I go to take a shower only to look up and see 2 wash clothes that have been used on top of the showerđđ¤Źđ¤Źđ¤ŹAre you kidding me??? Really??? Maybe this is why they kept knocking and ask me if we needed towels and washclothsđ¤ˇđżââď¸.... Anyway I took my shower and left, I didn't even eat breakfast there I was so mad. This is not a cool place...
