Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Lexington

I do not know what the 1 Star review is on about. The chips are very clearly seasoned, so their plain statement is completely inaccurate. They're honestly a little spicier than I expected, so ordering one of their combo options may be required for some, but they were wonderful when warm regardless. Got my meal around 6:20 P.M., a Beef Quesadilla with a combo queso, alongside some Churro Fries because they tempted me as soon as I saw them on the menu. Beef was plentiful in every bite, like a carpet of seasoned meat throughout. The tortilla was a wonderfully flakey surface with a golden hue that gave a pleasant, slight crunch with each bite. The queso was a smooth, mild sauce that was great for dipping not only the chips, but the quesadilla as well. Churro Fries were as good as they sound. Laden with cinnamon sugar, served with a nice helping of chocolate sauce, had to take my time with them.

The service was inviting, quick, and respectful, I was in, confirmed who I was, and was out just as fast.

My third time swinging by TF is consistent with the past visits. Wonderful place to go, if you're looking for an enjoyable dinner in a calm atmosphere, coming during one of the weekdays if you have the time. They can get rather busy over the weekend, so service can be delayed. Overall,...

The entire crew at Tijuana Flats is Amazing & the food is very delicious. Compared to Chipotle, Qdoba & Moe's, the amount of food & quality of the ingredients you get for the price & service is worth more value than the other 3 Mexican fast casual. And... they have a comparable rewards program, which I think may actually be a step above in rewards than the other 3 I mentioned. Since the Lexington restaurant opened back in December, 2024, I've dined here several times & have been hooked on their quality & service. That means a lot since Qdoba had been my go to Mexican fast casual since the 90's, however Qdoba, Chipotle & Moe's have all declined in some aspects of their menu, including their rewards program. Mexican food is one of my favorites & I promise you won't be sorry to give this place a try. Loved this new TF location! Tijuana flats is super popular back home in FL so I was so so excited to see a location opened in Lex 🤩 the food was just as good as I was hoping (I recommend steak for the protein, they season it super well) and I almost cried happy tears that I was able to get my fave birthday reward: the cookie dough flautas (delicious showstopping mouthwatering perfect). Also the staff were so so nice, the woman working the counter was taking the time to help everyone with the menu and explain menu items and was just a joy. And of course the hot sauce...
