So I went to go see a show here last night and I will say that was the worst experience for a concert I have ever attended.. and I've been to ALOT of concerts. I paid $170/each for front row seats for me and my friend. From the second we went into our section the ticket scanning people WOULD NOT STOP BUGGING US if we were not at our seats!!! Literally every time we would and come back they would haggle us upon entry, and if we stopped short to talk to other concert friends (there's quite a few) here comes the ticket ladies bugging us to go to our seats, to the point where I was getting irritated and had to tell them to LEAVE US ALONE! we are in our section, already made it past the first wave of their scanners, they don't need to keep bugging us as we are socializing with friends and other concert goers, and you know what they did then? (after this happened multiple times) Took it up a notch and brought security down (to the front row where we paid for the most expensive tickets) Literally second row) and they kicked me out HALFWAY THRU THE SHOW. And I kept asking why, and the security guy just said, "you know why." No, I did not know why. Was it because I stopped to many times to talk with concerts buddies? Was it because I called them annoying as they kept haggling me every time they had a chance? Idk but I will never attend this venue again. As a business owner in the service industry I am appalled at the "service" I received last night. I wasted over $300 on tickets for a show I only got to see half of because of their incompetent and highly annoying staff that wanted to police so hard they kicked me out for Literally nothing. Maybe it's a managerial problem where they don't get enough freedom or something and they were trying to make up for it by doing this type of thing? Maybe the ladies don't get enough attention at home and they were taking it out? Idk... but like I said, I'm a huge concert goer and I will never come to a show here again. Below is some of the names (and numbers) of the employees bugging me and my friends throughout the experience: -Michelle 00029156 -Brandon 00014486 -"See" (all she told me her name was) and didn't give me her number (was hiding it actually) -And Vincent (security guard) wouldn't give me his badge number and again, was hiding it so I couldn't see it. Said, "they'll know who I am" I would highly consider letting these employees go as they are unfit for any type of job with any control over occupants. It seemed like they were in some type of "power trip" like how you would imagine a bad cop is.. Rant over. Never coming back to this place. Really wish I could get my money back, but of course, when your dealing with a huge corporation like this one, pretty much guarantee they won't make it right. Or even say sorry for...
Read moreHorrible service at the cafe. My brother a friend of ours and myself went around 11:30pm to kill some time and have a quick meal before they can play there match plays at midnight. We order. We eat. We try to pay and the card readers go down. Okay that's fine. We wait 10 mins and they try to run our cards again.. still nothing and they said they will contact IT and get it squared away. Now it's been 30 minutes and they still cannot get the systems back up and running. Laura that cafe manager says that we can get cash from the ATM which has a fee and if we all pulled cash it would double our bill. We tried to pay Apple Pay as well I tried to give them casino chips to equal out the bill. The total was $37 and Laura tried to say we were "running out without paying our bill" as we have been standing here now over 35 minutes trying to pay our bill. I tell Laura I feel like we are being held hostage at this point and she said "if you try to walk out I will call security". Surely she calls security because after another 10 minutes of waiting for the systems I tell her we are leaving after about 45 minutes of waiting time now. Security shows up not 1 or 2 or even 3 but 9 maybe 10 in total come and are now surrounding us threatening us to call the sheriffs department cause we are trying to "evade from paying our bill" while we are still in the same area trying to pay our bill now for 45 minutes. Zack whos the security manager for the night puts all the blame on us and says again we're not trying to pay our bill but why would we still be in the restaurant giving them multiple chances to run our cards. I feel security didn't know what was happening and attacked us verbally and racially profiled us while we still were trying to make payments multiple times, threatened to call police for trespassing as well they still threw us out because I told Laura I will be leaving this review and she told security again I threatened her and we were escorted out by 4 to 5 security guards. No apologies were made even after they took the payments they just wiped there hands with us and smiled and Laura said "ask me if I care that you will post this" as she was making faces at me. Security was out of line the way they spoke to us as well Laura was telling customers that we weren't trying to make the payment so customers started telling us to just make the payment and stop being difficult again while we stayed to make the payment even after being told all these things. Gladys gave my brothers some pastries at the end to make up for the bs we just went through but honestly that is not enough nor fair for the way we were treated and spoken to as well as being racially profiled by...
Read moreRented a cabana here through Resort Pass. This was our second time; our first was last year, and we had a blast then. This time around, you could see there were changes implemented, and in our opinion, not for the better. Our group consisted of 4 middle-aged women celebrating 2 of our birthdays. The Spa staff was very strict and would not let us bring in 4 cupcakes for our birthday. They said we cannot bring in any food that was available for cabana services. Once I got in, there were no cupcakes on the menu. We were warned if there was any outside food, we could be kicked out, and no refunds would be given. We did ask for them to maybe just hold the cupcakes since they would have been ruined in the car, and they told us to check with the luggage storage if they could. So, cupcakes trashed. We were assigned our cabana and our server. Our server was MIA the majority of the day; we even had to stop another server to place an order. She came around maybe once every couple hours. Speaking of food orders; if you order anything other than pizza, you are charged $4 every single time you order. So when we ordered lunch, each of us was charged $4 each, and then when we ordered snacks, we were charged this service fee again. This adds up! We were told this was because they have to bring the food from inside the casino restaurant. This is ridiculous. I could understand a one-time service charge, but every time anything is ordered is absolutely ridiculous! Management was wandering around quite a bit; this took away from the relaxing vibes and felt like we were being policed the entire time. A staff person from the spa came to fill out the fridge with waters and advised us we had to turn our speaker off as it was not allowed. Mind you, it was not loud at all; you could not hear it unless you walked into our cabana, but worse is there were at least 2 other cabanas with speakers (with the volume loud that we could hear it over ours inside our cabana); she walked right by and said nothing to them. Bad service, being ripped off by made-up service charges, and being made to feel like we were being monitored made our experience not as enjoyable as the last. I think we will try another place for our annual birthday celebration from now on. Do better, Thunder Valley; there is no way you are so stretched for money that you need to charge $4 each order when I have to go hunt down our server, and the food...
