DO NOT AND I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE! My daughter and I came to Logansport for my Grandsons baseball tournament. We reserved a block for 9 rooms for the baseball team and their families. First off when we arrived the first lady said she knew nothing and had no rooms next to one another as we requested. One room for my daughter and I and one for the boys who are 12 and 13. Obviously we needed rooms next to one another so we can keep an eye on them. Second lady came and said they could put us across from one another. We had to take it because it was all that was offered. Nobody told any of the team that the pool was not opened, then they lied trying to say we were told. If somebody told us the pool was not open, we definitely would have stayed elsewhere. We had a whole team of boys that thought they were going swimming. The hotel is run down, dirty and in desperate need of updates, repairs and cleaning and better managers. The breakfast was the worst I had ever seen offered at a hotel. Our room had a sink that was leaking and there was blood or something on the sheer part of the curtain. The boys room had a large picture fall off the wall after the door closed. The wall where it was hanging had crumbled, luckily it didn't fall of any of the kids. The first night we were there, the guy at the front desk, Paul, accused my daughter of going into the housekeeping closet, she did not. She actually came out of our room, which is right next to the closet, to go into the boys room to check on them. On the second night he also questioned our children when they went down to the vending machine, asking them how many kids are in the room, are there any adults in there, what room are you in? That was very inappropriate. Why is a grown man asking our kids these questions? CREEP He told us that the boys were running and making a lot of noise, they were not. All they did was walk down to the vending machine. He told my daughter he had video of her coming out of the closet the night before and of the boys running, when she went down to view the video's, he acted like he had no idea what she was talking about, proceeded to tell her to shut up and then said he did not have authorization to view the video's, even after he was the one that told her to come down. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had staying in a hotel and if I am ever in Logansport again I will never stay here, I would rather sleep in my car. There were drug deals going on, crackheads sitting outside, a drunk man with no shoes or shirt and his butt hanging out of his pants, but they were more concerned with complaining about a team of boys making some noise because they were BORED because the pool was closed and they were also busy accusing their guests of steeling from the...
Read moreI am a 3rd shifter I requested a room with early check in. They complied the room was booked 50.00 dollars early check in and 109 dollars for the room .yes it was salty but it was worth it to get some sleep.I was working 3 hrs from my residence and working 12.5 hour shifts.Check inwas complete at 9 am. went to room and slept .room passable not the Ritz but clean. Then at 2pm I received a phone call asking why I had not checked out yet.I called their customer service line wanting explanation since I had paid for the room until checkout the next day.The customer service lady said talk with manager so I went down to figure it out at 215 pm I took a very quick shower and ditched the pajamas. At the desk the manager proceeded to yell at me for calling customer service. She stated I knew full well that I had paid that amount until 2 pm only then proceeded to charge me another 25 dollars for late check out.The whole time she is yelling and people are starting to gather.I stated I didnt realize the hotel charges by the hour. She then screamed if you have no money out of my hotel. This really ticked me off since I called bank and they had already taken the money from my account including the extra 25 late fee which I had never signed for.I do not recommend this hotel spend alittle more and get treated correctly down the street.I am a respiratory therapist working with ventilators on dependent children not a hourly hotel booker. They refused a refund I fought it but due to her tampering with the records which should be illegal she claimed I left early.Never will they get a dime from me again or any place in this chain.my call alone to customer services at 201 pm should have been enough for upper management to know whom the liar was in...
Read moreI have been a Choice privileges member since they started it, and I don't think I have ever had a worse stay at any of there Hotels.
We were in the same Quality Inn last year at this time, and it was much different then. Here are some of the things we went through, I am not going to list everything.
They had to code 4 keys before one would work on our door.
The food was not very good, and the service was even worse ( quite the opposite last year)
Saturday morning we got a wake up call at 5:45 in the morning, we did not ask for this. At 8:00 the phone rang one single ring.
After the desk had been told about the wake up call, guess what, Sunday morning at 5:45 we got another wake up call, and at 8:00 it rang one single ring. Some of the staff was rude, and some were nice.
Went to pull a towel off of the towel bar, and the towel bar came with the towel.
The tub did not drain properly so we had to take a shower in a foot of water.
One of the things that is supposed to happen when you check into a choice hotel, is they are suppose to recognize you are a member. I am a Platinum Elite, and have been a Diamond as well. I can't really hold this one against them, because there are very few hotels that recognize an elite member. It just doesn't happen. Over the years I can count on one hand how many times I have been greeted as an elite member.
I could go on with some more stuff that happened, but I believe you should get the picture from what I just said.
I can say this, we won't be back in that hotel again, I don't care if I have to stay in a non-choice hotel, if one is...
