I stay at the Red Roof Inn in Lompoc quite often so it's almost like hanging out with family and what I mean by family I mean the staff and managers staff is quite welcoming and accommodating and really go over and beyond their job description to make sure their guests are happy comfortable and have all the amenities available ensure you know to ensure guests stay is pleasant and memorable. Over the years I've seen this place really turn around as far as the grounds as well as the rooms inside and the quality of customer service has been up to by 100% knowledgeable staff about the city the events that aren't going on at that particular time the guests arrive and informing them of those infants such as the lunch parades festivals various other activities for people to do whether they're stay here in Lompoc is short or for a long period of time the rooms are spacious linens are always clean and housekeeping department it's very accommodating the noise level is barely quiet fairly quiet and if there's an issue with the room or another guest or anything of that matter staff will handle it in a prompt friendly manner I've repeatedly go on I repeatedly stayed hey it's just particular Red Roof Inn at 10:20 East Ocean the manager is Bina and Sam Patel are very personable with their gas whether they be locals or out of towners it's very down to earth and relaxed one of my favorite staff members is Monica Lindy and you can find her up at the front desk she is the backbone of this place it's been here way before the owners that are currently running this place so she has seen the constant change and also improvements so if you happen to see her at the front desk give her a high five for a job all time she's the hub of this place making sure everything flows management Miss Bina and Sam are fair flexible and lenient and understanding if a guest staying here longer than they anticipated they are willing to work with them on making sure that it's the one-man situation they offer deals from time to time and then of course if you remember already word remember which I highly recommend especially right now they have a promotion going where are you and after you get a certain amount of points I believe it's 7,500 I could be wrong you get a free night so it's 10 points per dollar and right now with this promotion going on it is double that so it doesn't take very long to get yourself a free room and the staff and owners you're always welcome to honor that rooms are spacious clean house bathtubs they really have their housekeeping staff while trained on all safety procedures and cleaning I will continue to visit this place how long your room I do wish that they had more than just one washer maybe in the future they can get a couple more in because there's this place is packed for the most part and a lot of people that are locals don't have automobiles or means of transportation it is a small town and there's plenty to do here for singles couples family member families children and I'm not here over 15 minutes away from solvang California in 20 minutes away from Santa Maria and you go a little further on you in the five cities area where Pismo Grover Beach area and they have plenty of stuff to do there as well the perfect location here on located on a central coast and it's one of the most affordable I highly recommend people give it a try I know most of the time as I have posted reviews I've seen a lot of people bad mouth this place and those are usually the people who have caused problems or didn't pay their rents just want to cause trouble the only way you can find out is to give it a shot and make your own decision on the Red Roof here in Lompoc California beautiful views of mountains to right and vineyards the wine ghetto and I just dated before many many many things for people to do in and around Lompoc California so when you go there make sure you say hi to dino the maintenance guy was always willing to come stop what he's doing and come with wire or reprogram your remote or if there's some sort of a plumbing problem or issue an outlet bulb Dino is on it with a quickness thank you Red Roof for making my business quite memorable and so many ways you have no idea you get a little bit of this and a little bit of that here it's kind of like long pokémon but it is clean...
Read moreI've been coming here off and on for 2 yrs. + now. When I lived here as a teenager I even worked here in laundry, housekeeping, and night auditing/front desk. So I've seen a lot of changes some good and some bad. But this time around about 2 yrs.ago this place had gone through a lot of changes, mostly due to lack of consistency in service, upkeep, and poor ownership/management. However since Red Roof has changed ownership and is being managed by a lovely couple who strive to bring back all that Red Roof Inn quality stands for which has always been to provide excellent guest services, comfort, and a pleasant experience to each guest they serve. Rooms are cleaner and apparently are in the works for a make over which the devoted Miss Bina told me with excitement. They have ample parking but I've also noticed that the parking lot used to be empty often. Since Mr.Sy and Miss Bina have taken over I've watched the rooms are being rented more and I've seen many returning faces. There's new faces in staff as well. The leader of that department who is to me someone who is the hub of this particular Red Roof. A perfect example of what travelers look gor when staying at a hotel. Professional, personable, and genuine is what this woman who has been a part of the Red Roof Inn. Her name is Monica and in the 2 years of staying here off and on tgis woman is on the go non-stop from housekeeping, laundry and now the front desk! She's apparently been here quite some time and her work performance explains why. I can see the new owners of this place must be happy having Miss Monica as part of their team. Red Roof remains pet friendly as well as has great coffee in the lobby, free Wi-Fi, and guest laundry room. Guests can rest assured all special requests are met. Staff is knowledgeable on places, events, and things to do in town and in neighboring areas. Rates are always low here for my stays. I'm sure with up and coming improvements to Red Roof Inn here, room rates will go up a bit, but still will remain lower than their competitor's rates which is awesome. I appreciate the sense of family this place has. As a past employee here and now a frequent guest here, my fiance recommend anyone passing through or staying awhile to check in at Red Roof Inn and enjoy what this place...
Read morewhile I was in Lompoc, California I stayed at Red Roof Inn. night 1- no heat and a guy sleeping outside my door.... night 2- still no heat, clogged tub, damp hand towels left as clean, no bath towels and best of all......someones dirty underwear under my bed!! I told the front desk when I checked out and the guy didn't even look me in the face when he said "sorry"
I called to complain and they emailed me today offering me 25% off my next stay. that was a slap in the face!!
Nothing like adding insult to injury. To think I would ever stay at Red Roof Inn again is crazy! I would gladly pay more to stay in a place anywhere other than Red Roof Inn ever again. Maybe you didn't understand the severity of my recent experience. I found a pair of dirty underwear under my bed, the tub was clogged and I was left no bath towels and only 2 damp hand towels, these are just my main issues. Not to mention the man sleeping outside my room, and un-made bed, no liners left in the trash cans and un- vacuumed carpets. Upon checking out I told the front desk of the issues and they already knew about the underwear...thing is- I hadn't mentioned this until checking out. That leads me to believe I was not the only one with dirty underwear in their room. Now I'm sure you would not find this acceptable if you were to stay at a national hotel/motel chain, and you would be just as angry for spending your hard earned money on such a place. Further more, the lack of concern at the front desk and inability to offer an apology with eye contact floored me. This location has a lot to learn about hotel management and customer service. While I travel across the country a few times a year, I will look for other places to stay, avoiding your establishment and anyone associated with it. Understand I will tell everyone I know and everyone they know about my experience and your lack of concern after the fact.
