Mattress Superstore — Hotel in Longview

Amazing staff and ownership! Tired of putting on your suit of armor to fend off pushy salespeople? Just want to ask a quick question or, even better, be left alone to wander on your own to check out the beds? Then you’ve finally found the right bed store. We purchased our new Stearns and Foster mattress (“Trailwood”) at Mattress Superstore in Longview a little over a month ago but I’ve waited until today to write my review. Why, you ask? Well, because I’m cynical by nature. Even though the owner and staff were amazing, courteous, hysterically funny, respectful, and honest, I still needed more. I needed to know that what we experienced in the store (the comfort and quality of the mattress and adjustable frame) would continue to be a reality when we were living in it at home. And, so far, it has indeed. I am convinced this is the most comfortable mattress, on the most comfortable frame, for the best price, that we have ever purchased. I was actually anxious when I first walked in to the store. I just wanted to throw a quick question at them and stay near the door so I could beat a hasty retreat if they ganged up on me (can you tell I’ve been through a few mattress purchasing experiences before???). However, Cory, the owner, not only was able to answer my questions but, also, appreciated my odd sense of humor and I soon felt as though I was chatting with old friends. After finding the setup I wanted, I came back the following week with my husband and let Cory work with him so we could compare notes. There was more laughing and storytelling while we in there than any store I’d ever been to and it made the experience that much more relaxed. My husband and I ended up selecting the exact same bed, frame, and setup so next step was the dreaded price negotiations. But, guess what? The prices Cory gave us were so much lower than what I had researched it was mindboggling! No haggling necessary! After we set up delivery and left, we stopped for lunch and my husband spent the entire the time looking online for other listed prices for what we had just purchased. He couldn’t believe the price we had just paid was lower than anything he was finding online. So thank you Cory, Kelley, and Matt, for making this the only time I’ve ever enjoyed spending with mattress store staff and for being honest, helpful, and caring. This place was a hole in the wall we were so lucky to discover. These folks not only let us shop without hassling us, they were very down to earth, felt no pressure and only answered questions if we asked. Got to know all the staff, a lady and two gentlemen who worked with my husband and I for months before we chose the frame that best fit for us. Every time we came in they treated us well and remembered we were literally "just there to look" as we waited for our wedding to have the funds needed. After we got married, we found out they allowed friends and family to generously leave credits at the store to help go towards the frame we liked. Next day delivery and set up made it a breeze. Even if you're not in the market for a bed, visiting just made our day better every time. Super cool people, family owned and our kids love the little television corner with the selection of movies. I don’t know why you would go anywhere else. This is a local store not a national store We went to other stores testing beds then came upon Mattress Superstore. Walking in it looked small and crowded. But there was another room with more mattresses. Absolutely no pressure by John. Bed were well organized from firm to plush. By brand. We found the perfect mattress. There was no pressure to buy or being upsold on anything. Delivery and setup is included and fast NO CHARGE. Plus they pay sales tax.
