Went to Triangle tavern yesterday for lunch. Worst food and service ever!! We are not regulars there but about every other month we like to go for their food. First off as the waitress was taking our order she just kept pulling on her eyelashes and wiping them on her pants does she not realize that is hair and most people don't want it in their food. 2 of us ordered Tavern burgers and the other ordered a French dip. The burgers were cold like they thought they would be busy so they made them before hand, bun was cold and patty was like one of those premade 1/3 LBS. burger and tasted funny. When the french dip came out its was completely soggy because the au jus was spilled all over the plate. We asked the server if they had changed burger because it also tasted different because (their food is usually good) She goes "how would I know I don't work in the kitchen) and walk off. She didn't offer to take some off make us new food or anything. I only took 2 bites of my food she took away said nothing and charged me full price, Also the French dip was to soggy for the other lady to eat and were side salad came out with rancid black pieces of lettuce. So definitely no pride in their food And to the waitress just because you work in a bar you could definitely have better customer service. sorry for such...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of my favorite bars in town due to the outside area with heaters and large flat screen TVās for my wife to enjoy the game. My first time here was 3 weeks ago for a girls night which was Friday the 13th and it was pretty busy. Drinks were fairly expensive, about $32 with tip for 3 shots of tequila, but they were worth it for the outdoor heaters and open space. Tonight I came back with the same group of girls and my wife but this time we ordered food. We decided to do the special which was tacos but it was only 6pm and they were already out of beef tacos, the only other option is chicken. The tacos are good but they arenāt great, however 2 tacos for $3 is a pretty good deal. We also ordered the taco soup and the French dip which came out to probably $25 or something. The taco soup is definitely chili but thatās okay it was still good and the French dip was absolutely to die for. We will definitely be back in the future but just probably not for taco night! There was two people on the floor and it probably took about 10 minutes for us to initially be greeted at the bar and an additional 20 to order food. The food itself came literally within 5-10 minutes of us ordering though so that was great.
P.S if you have Pepsi you need to have Mountain Dew! Thatās my only actual complaint, otherwise I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis will be a place that we frequent! Tonight, Jamie was our server and she is one of the best waitresses that weāve had in years. She has a sincere, friendly demeanor and was practically intuitive to our needs. Jamie is remarkably efficient! We had the Poutine; which was ridiculously good! My darling had the house (bone in) barbecued wings and a Caesar salad⦠yep, he found his bliss! We also enjoy their sister restaurant Silver Star and suggest that you try them both.
We always have a good time here. Peyton is usually our server and she is wonderful. The last time we were here she and Josh (?) tag teamed and we couldnāt have asked for better or faster service! Payton recommended the pretzel fries over a poutine (which Iāve had twice before). And I can see pretzel fries becoming a really bad habit, they are delicious! I enjoyed a salad to make up for my appetizer, and it was was really good. Mr. Wonderful (aka: Hubs) had the fish tacos, which he devoured. Triangle Tavern is just fun! The atmosphere (oh! Established in 1959 just like Mr. Wonderful)! the googly eyes, (anyone whoās been in this establishment knows what Iām talking about) the servers, the food,...
