Never staying here again. My boyfriend and I spent this past weekend up here. First off, the directions from the main lodge to our actual room in another building on the other side of the mountain were completely wrong. We spent an extra half hour driving in the dark trying to find the right place. Once we finally got to our room and settled in for the night, there was no cable, with a note on the main screen of the TV stating that there was an overdue balance. Not only was there no cable, but there also was no internet and no hot water. We made several calls to the front desk with our complaints with one employee telling us to “keep the water running for 10 minutes” in order to get hot water. After about 10 seconds of turning the faucet in the direction of hot water, it shut off. After we complained, we were told by all the employees we spoke to that they would be in touch with us after they spoke to the property manager, in hopes that we would be switched to another room free of charge. We heard nothing. The worst customer service. Whomever is in charge of looking out and maintaining this property is a joke and should be ashamed of themselves. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Okemo mountain lodge has the earliest access to skiing every season. They are also the latest to remain open. Reserved parking even on the busiest of days. Steps from ski school, rentals, ticket office, food and bar. Walk to the loft for additional food and beverage options.

We have one more night here of a four night vacation. I can’t wait to get home and am thinking of just leaving tonight. I felt completely misled by the telephone operators at Okemo. This is our first trip to Okemo. Our family of four usually takes about three long weekend ski trips per year. Most recently we spent four nights at the Von Trapp family Lodge up in Stowe. We have heard so many nice things about Okemo so we thought we would try it. Never again. We are staying in a one bedroom condo, building B, mountain lodge at Okemo. Yes, the location is fabulous for skiing. That’s it. Paying over $3,000 for 4 night for location simply isn’t worth it. I asked two different if the ski lockers we’re on the ground floor or in a basement. Both of them asked me to hang on so they could get information, and both of them confirmed that that was the case. They were both wrong. The ski locker is on the third floor next to your condo. That means at the end of every day you have to carry up all your equipment because there is no elevator. I was hit by a car last November and cannot manage. My husband has to take several trips to get everything up and down for me and the kids. It’s one thing to unload and load the car at the start and finish of a four-day vacation, it’s another thing to be taking all these trips every morning and every afternoon. The other thing that was misleading is the pool situation. Three different Okemo folks said we would have access to the pool at the hotel. I asked, “the outdoor one?” They all confirmed yes, both the hotel and spring house. How can they be so misinformed? We tried to go to the pool at the hotel, but we’re turned away. At spring house, the hot tub literally had NINE CHILDREN, none of them ten or above. Most looked under 6, plus their parents. The kids would not even shift over for my husband and I to have a seat. We did not feel comfortable pointing to the side and asking them to get out because then the parents would have been irritated with us which would be uncomfortable there should be a staff member doing that. I tried to rinse off in the locker room, but there is no hot water in the shower was covered in hair, Band-Aids, and dirty towels. It was the grossest locker room I’ve ever seen. I was horrified. It is worse than at my regular old gym at home. Then you have to just drive back two miles wet and climb three flights of stairs. The condo itself is awful. I knew it would be outdated because it’s old. Sure, I was expecting horrible furniture and ugly brown decor. I was told that there would be enough room to set up two camping cots in the living room. No one in the history of humanity has ever woken up to say, “wow, I had a great night’s sleep on that pullout sofa bed.” I had a lengthy conversation with a woman on the phone about the fact that my husband and I would take the bed and we’d like a condo with room for the kids to not be on a sofa. We could bring our own Swiss folding cots. She assured me that they would fit in the living room and still be able to sit on the sofa. Not the case at all. We can only fit one cot so someone is sitting on the unopened sofa. There is also no place to put our stuff. There are four classes, two of them are locked with the owner’s belongings, and the other two are filled with useless items. For example, one closet is full of a giant roll of a piece of carpet. Seriously? Why on earth is this in the closet that we are supposed to use. There are four electric fans in another closet and a giant filthy stained comforter that are supposed to go on the couch. There are no empty cupboards to put our food in. The kitchen is filled with useless items, like two electric CanOpener’s when there’s just a regular small handheld one in the drawer. Why is there all this clutter? Don’t they realize that people staying here bring things that they need to use? I have never been so uncomfortable in recent memory. We travel a lot and I honestly can’t think of a worse experience. We ate at the restaurant that takes reservations over at the hotel. We waited 25 minutes after being seated and no one visited our table while we watch three other tables get seated, served drinks, and have their orders taken. I had to go to the hostess station and ask to please send someone over. My overall conclusion is the staff at Okemo is very poorly trained, and not remotely educated on the important details of their properties. We will...

Don't be disouraged by other reviews. While pricey, the condo was very nice and very convenient for winter sports. We had a King 1 BR on floor C (top floor). It was the lowest price option offered between Mountain Lodge and Jackson Gore. Parking was included and convenient. No elevators, but we are mostly skiers / snowboarders and were able to walk up to it without issue. There is a roomy ski / snowboard locker (locked closet) next to front door into the unit. Yes, this is on the 3rd floor. Nice view of the lift area and mountain from living room and bedroom. Our young adult daughers found the queen sofabed comfortable enough to share. Condo was clean, quiet, and very convenient. We walked down to the corner for a very good meal at the tavern on night of arrival. I'm sure there are always more modern options for furniture, decor, and kitchen and batch fixtures, but we are not concerned with "fashion" in a hotel / rental. Everything seemed up to date. We were here to ski. Our criteria for satisfying is Clean, Quiet, and Comfortable, and this place checked all the boxes. I was hotel coordinator for my daughter's club sports teams for years, so have managed very many stays throughout the east. Our only real complaint was running low on hot water late Saturday night, so one of our family waited till the morning to shower. The next night we were more careful to take reasonable showers and all 4 of them were fine. The place was very expensive, but less expensive than the sister facility at Jackson Gore. We liked that this one showed as including a kitchen in every unit, and that's what we had. If we had stayed at Jackson Gore, we know very few trails were open in that section, and we might not have had a kitchen. Plus, it was more expensive there.||Unfortunately, only about half the mountain was open, only two black diamonds, the weekend before Christmas 2024. Other trails looked good, but were closed. There was a section just after exiting the summit lift where a short wide trail down to the top of World Cup was a sheet of ice on first day, and on second day after several inches of snowfall overnight, the same section got scraped off and was back to being a sheet of ice by 1 PM. Very few tufts of snow left to turn off of. I definitely recommend the resort consider expanding ways to access trails. Even for experienced skiers, it was a bit challenging. It was too much for the apparently less experienced skier who ran into my daughter.||If you're thinking Mountain Lodge sounds like a better fit for you than Jackson Gore, don't be scared off by some of the other reviews. I hestitated, but am glad I...
