Darkside Snowboards, Okemo, Vermont — Local services in Ludlow

This place lives up to the hype. I was referred to it by another shop because "they have everything." That turned out to be dead on. Place is awesome.

But service is always what motivates me to write a review.

I was engaged by four employees within minutes of being in the store. They didn't just answer my questions and move on, they really helped me figure out what I needed to consider. It was an awesome experience.

I went to put on my boots at blue lot and as I was cranking my BOAs the left boot broke. I brought it down the hill to Darkside and they had it fixed in maybe 20 minutes. I got back to blue lot only for the right boot to do the same thing. Turned back around and brought it right back here and they took care of it in no time. Needed an Oakley replacement lens in a pinch. Called several places in town to see if they carry them Darkside was one and Totem Pole was the other. Well I try to avoid most of the ski shops in town other than Tygart and would prefer to shop at Darkside anyway the identical replacement lens was $50 less at Darkside!
