Mattress Firm Lumberton — Hotel in Lumberton

HORRIBLE SERIVICE!!!!! I ordered a mattress and adjustable frames on 2-28-22 and was told that they would be delivered on 3-17-22. My salesperson was Trent. Got a call on 3-16-22 that they could not deliver "because the warehouse was closed" It would be 3-19-22 before they could deliver. The morning of 3-19-22 I called to see when they would be delivering my new bed. They had NO IDEA and proceeded to give me the run around. Finally, I spoke with a "Nancy" that said she was Trents boss, and she would check on things and call me back. She called back within a few minutes and told me she did not know when they were going to be able to deliver my bed. She then explained that the delivery system was not online yet and that she would check into it and give us a call back when she found out more details. Later that day she called and spoke to my wife. She told my wife that they don't even make that mattress anymore and that we might be able to get a comparable one. I called her back and she (nancy) gave me every excuse in the book. Told me that she would do whatever she could to make it right and that she would be in the Lumberton store on Tuesday the 22nd. I was there at 10am and spoke with a Diane (I think). No Nancy in the store and she was not coming to the Lumberton store. The salesperson (Diane?) helped me as best she could but appeared not to be very knowledgeable and told me the only thing, she could do was offer me another mattress that I didn't want. I got a refund (still waiting for it to be put back in my account). This place was worse than dealing with a used car salesman. The worst experience I have ever had when buying anything. And not even a call back from them to see if they could earn my business back after all that happened. I have only one question for Mattress Firm, how can you sell a mattress that is not even made anymore? HORRIBLE...

Went in to price shop a mattress and when we approached the door we was greeted by a friendly and helpful guy, Trent. We explained what we was looking for and he took us to right where we needed to be. He didn't try and push us over to another product line or didn't try to sell us something that we really didn't need. We inquired about pricing and he wasn't hesitate about getting us the prices. Needless to say we left with the mattress that we went in look at. Mattress Firm in Lumberton, NC is the place to go for all your mattress needs, don't over pay for a cheap over priced mattress from the furniture stores like I almost did. Stop into Mattress Firm and look at all there selections I guarantee that they will have the right product that you are looking for. I almost talked myself out of not going because I thought the prices was going to be way out of my budget but I was way wrong. So quit letting these sales people talk you into buying there not so good, maybe will last a year mattresses. Stop on by and let Trent take care of you. Best place in Lumberton that I found that actually had any mattresses in stock and didn't knock me over the head with outrageous prices, don't get me wrong but they do have some top of the line mattresses there to. Just wanted to give my experience at this Mattress...

I don't recommend buying anything from any Mattress Firm store. Mattress Firm as a whole has terrible customers service and their Mattresses is not the best of quality for the price they are selling them at and they dont stand behind their product. I purchased a mattress back in June of 2023 and the mattress has already begun to sag on both sides of the bed. I report the issue to Mattress Firm and their solution was to give me a store credit for the mattress but the downside of that was, I still would be responsible for paying/oweing the difference between the two prices of the mattresses when the 2nd one I picked out was cheaper then the original one I purchased, instead of them crediting the difference back to the account.Which left me having to decide whether or not I wanted to lose a $1000 to pay for something that was bad and that i no longer own or just have the mattress replaced. Either way I was getting screwed in the deal because I'd be left having to pay for a lemon mattress. Thanks Mattress Firm for stealling money from hard working people. You'll never get my busy again, I'll take my chances with Sam's Club. At least they stand behind their product and value...
