If I were rating the cashier alone, I would give 4 stars. She was pleasant and engaging but was unable to tell us the ingredients on the sandwiches we were interested in; not an overly huge problem but wish she'd been a little more educated on what's on/in the various menu items. Had I not known I had a choice of baguette, soft dinner roll, chips, or Apple, I'm not sure what they would have given me because I wasn't offered an option. We also weren't offered the customary 99¢ pastry to go with our meal.
My big issue however came when it was time to get our food. There was a guy standing at the counter, which I am guessing was a manager of some type, who just stood there for at least 30-45 seconds and did not even acknowledge me until I finally said "excuse me". His response was "yeah, here"..... Slides my 2 orders in my direction and steps out if the way. No thank you, no have a great day, no nothing. Having been to Panera's before, I was not at all impressed with the very poor customer service interaction at this location.
I'm not really sure how it happened, but of the 2 bowls of soup we had (both were broccoli cheddar), one bowl was hotter than the other, both sandwiches were heavy on the lettuce (fine if you're part rabbit), and oh, poor customer service. The standard of customer service at this particular locations lacks in a major way; it was very disappointing. The management team could learn quite a lot when it comes to customer relation skills; especially considering the phenomenal customer service I've grown accustomed to at the...
Read moreI came here really wanting to try the new chipotle chicken avocado sandwich, but when I got to the register Cassondra was my cashier and informed me that they were all out of Black pepper Focaccia bread. I stood by the order maker area to wait for my order and I heard Marissa ask a customer what type of bread he wanted with his sandwich and she told him that bread was actually available. So I asked to make sure and she said it is, but since they had already made my sandwich I didn’t want to inconvenience the order makers. Then as I’m waiting for my order, I hear Cassondra inform another customer who’s order she was taking that, that bread WAS indeed available. The bread she offered and said was the only one you had was so soft and made the sandwich unappetizing. I tipped even though I shouldn’t have and still tried to be nice to not inconvenience the order makers. But don’t sit up there and blatantly lie to customers. I was the only black customer in there at the time so that made me feel like she was prejudice or had something against me because WHY LIE? , but then offer that same bread to someone else who was Caucasian. I didn’t enjoy this experience at all and I don’t like liars. Order...
Read moreHonestly this place is pathetic. I usually go through drive through on the way to work and always get extremely RUDE & snobby cashiers at the window so I decided today to go inside to make an order. The cashier at the front counter is LOUD, and unnecessary. When I first walked into the side door I could hear her hollering to God knows who about "I thought she was ugly I really did" she continued to talk extremely loud. I told a coworker about my experience & she told me her and her husband had walked in not too long ago and the same girl told my coworkers husband "IM NOT TALKING TO YOU IM TALKING TO HER".. and all he was trying to do was finish his order.
What is the point in making my online coffee order that's supposed to contactless if they moved the cups from the drink machine and now I have to wait for someone to come to the register & give me a cup?? I might as well just order at the store. I used to love coming here before work last year but this year has been a downward spiral. Panera would benefit from starting over with all new staff, management too because they allow the rudeness &...
