If you look online, you see so many great reviews, but that is simply not true about this hotel.

The outside appearance of the hotel is pretty good, but once you make it to the room, that's where it begins. Everything looks old and worn out. Paint is chipped, wall paper peeling, carpets were dirty and dingy. Our king bed was hard as a rock, literally. I didn't sleep well the whole time we were there. Also, the shower head will beat you to death. The pressure was so hard, I cried every single time I tried to take a shower and inevitably had to take a bath. There were also cockroaches in the bathroom late at night. Just disgusting. I was going to just let it go, because our stay was only $300, but I just couldn't. I reported their hotel and asked for a full refund once we got home. The customer service number was rude, she got completely defensive when I suggested their hotel advertising online was extremely misleading. Once reported to the actual hotel, they refused the full refund, stating I should've expressed my concerns sooner, so they refunded one night, which to me is completely unacceptable.

This hotel has not been renovated, period. It is old. The staff was nice, but that's it.

I will never...

We had to evacuate from South Florida due to a Hurricane and all other hotels in the area clear to Dothan were booked solid. We had no other choice and considered ourselves lucky to get a room for 2 days. The hotel is dated but I kept an open mind even though my mind told me to run and keep going! But I had two exhausted children and no where else to go. The room should not have been rented to anyone! Dirty, moldy, ceiling tiles falling down. Active mold growing on walls. Toilet seat stained and plastic peeling off of it. The kids put paper on the seat before they would sit on it. They would not get in the tub or shower, it scared them. The window lock was broken so it was screwed shut. The door had about an inch gap around the bottom and sides. The metal lamps were rusted and there was a pile of dirt behind the floor lamp base which was also rusted. We all wore shoes the entire time. There was a gross mess in the freezer from what appeared to be popsicles, frozen, thawed, and frozen again many times over. We were given 2 towels for 4 people and there was no room service. The hotel lobby doors are open 24/7 so this is not a...

This was a horrible experience! From the time we arrived to the time we checked out! When we arrived at 3:00 pm no one was at the front desk. We rang the bell for service which didn’t work. Then attempted to call several times with no response. The clerk finally arrived about 20 min later and was not very friendly. His response was “what do y’all need!” So we finally get checked in and get to our room on the third floor where the renovations are happening. It was 90 degrees or more in the hallway and elevator. Our room was nice and cool however. When arriving in the room the toilet was full of blood, and stopped up. The phone in the room didn’t work so we had to call the front desk. His response was I’m the only one here you can come get a plunger. So my husband had to plunge the toilet. The pool was not clean it was green. The first floor had water damage and the ceiling falling in. At 4:00 am my husband went outside and left his key while I was sleeping. The new lady at the first desk was again no where to be seen it took him 45 min to finally get her awake to give him a key. There was a crackhead sleeping in the lobby. Never...

-My ice bucket had something growing in it... black spots like something was splashed or spilled on it and it was never cleaned. -There was obvious black mold directly above the shower head - the entire room was covered in a layer of dust - linens weren't as clean as they should be nor were there the correct number of towels -the remote was so disgustingly sticky -Dead roach very visible next to the toilet -AC doesn't work very well -both of the soaps in the bathroom were open and had clearly been used Not American owned and operated We're staying here to have a stronger structure for the hurricane but honestly I'm not so sure it's much better than home. If a tree doesn't fall on us some type of illness will 🥴😷 Only positive things I can say is they had a room available when all others were full.... but I see why now that I've been here for a few hours.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Completely dirty and disgusting. The exterior doors of the hotel don’t lock at night. They have been putting a bandage on deep wound. This place smells and needs to be completely renovated. There is mold in the bathrooms and coffee pots are dirty with old residue. This place is a Safety concern for any family. Stay away. Made complaint with the main headquarters and haven’t heard back.

Room smelled horrible upon entry, went to the front desk for air freshener and was handed a bottle of OdorBan no apology nor care, figure that’s housekeepers responsibility but not here. Curtains had mold and mildew all throughout, woke up barely able to breathe. All throughout the hotel you find items in disrepair peeling wallpaper mold and mildew even a hole in ceiling sheet rock. ABYSMAL!!
