The Spa at Zermatt — Hotel in Midway

Honestly, extremely unimpressed with our spa experience. Me and my husband decided to splurge and get pedicures while staying at the resort. They where well above the average price for a pedicure, and where expecting a nice relaxing spa experience. It ended up being everything but relaxing, and not worth our money. Everything was extremely unsanitary. One of our pedicurist even wiped their nose on the towel that was holding their tools, and did not change the towel out. The other pedicurist seemed to be very out of it which was due to her being on some medication. We knew she was on medication because they told us she was, not only did they tell us this, but for the entirety of our one hour visit to the spa they proceeded to tell us about this very personal procedure, and how they where preparing for it, (very unpleasant conversation). We both felt dirty once we where finished, and where both more than ready to get out of the spa area. To top all of this off we later saw on our bank records that the tip that we left with our card ended up being doubled. I decided to reach out to the management of the spa, and was told that they where out sick at the moment. so I left my name and contact information so I could resolve these issues with the spa management instead of going online and leaving a bad review. I never ended up hearing back from them.... So here we are now. Not...

Spa- Facial Facial.. OMG Alexia was soo amazing. I felt so relaxed and the environment was serene. Alexia is very good at what she does. Sure you can get a facial anywhere but getting an esthetician that understands that her energy that she gives, transfers to you through Healing hands, that, is what puts her above everyone else. You can really feel this energy. Its not just a facial its healing. Healing is transformed through her hands and I really appreciate that she knows tgis and exudes this as well. Zermatt is lucky to have her. Thank you for a very relaxing experience. Please keep up the good work and May God continue to bless you in this work. Know that you are not just a worker but someone who actually really makes a difference in a person's life, with the experience and energy you give. Thank you very much!. The heated pool is an interesting experience with the cold outside stream. Some major issues everyone should know about: -NO INTERNET, 0 WiFi as the network and code HAVE NEVER WORKED for us in half a dozen visits over the years. -You only get minimum tv, with 20 basic cable channels. -There is a Starbucks they call a bakery, but DON’T get the $9 bagel with an overcook dry egg on it or the corn oil fried donuts, inedible. -There is no store or supply area besides a severely overpriced snow equipment shop if you want a $1000 pair of snow pants. -MOST amenities are out of season MOST of the time. -The location is far from anything to eat in town, so bring food. We ate at the (steak) chop haus after a 45 minute wait to get in, then another 56 minutes to get the wrong food, so they brought a severely undercooked pasta dish 4 min later. So we didn’t have a nice experience or meal that night, luckily they had a couple of 2-year expired candy bars in the 2-5$ vending machines strategically hidden 1...
