Bäckerei & Eis Zermatt Bakery — Restaurant in Midway

After the REALLY good bakery in the middle of Midway closed down a couple years ago, I've come here a couple times to continue our tradition of bakery after biking WOW trail. It's never been very amazing and today was no exception. Had a bacon and cheese quiche and it was ok flavor but just another poorly cooked item I've had from here. It was not forkable. Very tough upper layer etc Nothing else is very light and flakey... Maybe better in the future but we'll start a new tradition after...

We arrived at the Zermatt resort just before the Bakery was closing, so quickly went into the Bakery to grab some treats for after dinner. Normally when a Bakery is about to close the selection is pretty sparse, but to our surprise there were still a lot of interesting things left. Went at 9am on a Tuesday and they were sold out of all breakfast sandwiches and eggs. Got the giant donut with M&Ms.. it was super dough-y. The cheese Danish was delicious but I had to heat it up in my microwave. The crossaint was hard but softened up in the microwave. Overall it was a little too expensive for the quality.
