My husband, his family, and I spent a week here and overall, it was a decent experience. The area is gorgeous, especially for hiking and biking, with beautiful views just a short walk, bike ride, or drive from the hotel.
I really enjoyed the hot tubâit was very relaxing. However, the pool was a bit cold, so if you're visiting during the off-season, just be prepared. They allow two cars per unit, and while they say a third is allowed only if space is available (first-come, first-served), I felt there was plenty of parking overall.
There were a few things I didnât like. For example, if your room accommodates 4 or 6 people, they only provide one towel per person. If you need an extra towel for any reason, you likely wonât get one. At the pool and hot tub area, towels are available, but you can't take them back to your room. So, if you go swimming during colder months, be prepared to walk back wet unless you bring your own towel or dry clothes to change into.
One nice touch: the office always had hot chocolate available, which was a treat. If you enjoy games, they have a few near the gym like shuffleboard, air hockey, and foosball.
A few things to note for future guests: there are no oven mitts, so if you plan on baking, bring your own. They also only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, so you might want to bring extra. On the plus side, they do provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand lotion. If you're planning to cook during your stay, they have some kitchen supplies, but not everything you might needâso it's smart to bring a few essentials. Also, each unit has its own grill, which is perfect if you...
Read moreMy in-laws have owned a time-share here for almost 30 years. The pool is a great size for 4 adults and a handful of kids, and still playable if a second family comes. There's a hot tub too. There's also a workout area and gaming area. The rooms are a great size. The living and eating areas are spacious and have good flow. We love it when we stay in the second level for the loft. It's a great sleeping area or play area. There's plenty of parking and plenty to do. We check out the nearby shops, Wasatch Park, and the Memorial at the top of the hill. Midway is so beautiful and quaint. It really feels like you've found a treasure when...
Read moreI would not stay here again! They charge for each device for Internet access, though they advertise free wifi. The internet access continually failed even after multiple calls to their internet vendor. The vendor, resortnet2, told me to call the front desk after the front desk told us we had to call the vendor! Just for an extra kicker the A/C froze up and had to be thawed to get it back working. Very limited parking as most spots in the garage were reserved for permanent residents. For a Worldmark by Wyndham resort, I was expecting a much...
