I just had a 4 day stay at this comfort inn. In millersburg Ohio I left my room for a few hours as I am in last stages of heart and lung failure the maid had came in the room rearranging the bed where I had my medication placed under the pillows I took pictures for my safety before I had left for a few hours yesterday I threw a fit a demanding to speak with that maid and manager this was wrong of comfort inn. Should not have touched the bed as I am a hospice patient the bed was remade all my medication were out and lined up in a row .I took pictures before I left room 205 not the way I left the room .as prior I was a maid at my local motel knowing first hand when you rent a room FOR several days they are not to come in the room nor put their hands on nothing .and things are on the bed .the maid as a golden rule is not to touch the bed at all I do not know what had been gone through not which maid this was and manager said we could leave now which we stayed the 4 days .I have my concerns.very unprofessional to do that to the guests .how convenient the elevator stopped working myself my 74 year old mother whom is her last stages of life also with injury's to her back and my 89 year old step father whom is legally blind we had to climb 2 flights of stairs to retrieve the rest of our belongings this is disturbing as we asked for help to get a few bags down 2 flights of stairs this is not a 5 star comfort inn.no .this is a lawsuit waiting to happen I asked the front desk girls for help and the manger conveniently was not there yesterday October 10 telling the girls at the front desk if we ask for help to to not help us with nothing due to the maid going threw my belongings day 1. as I had taken pictures before I left the room & was in complete shock when we returned to our room this is bad not a 5 star motel be careful the manager amy stood her ground saying she's had this maid working there several years I don't care how many years one works as a maid it may have sticky fingers!!!the golden rule you do not touch the bed when things are placed in a certain way nor fluff the bed there was no reason for that maid to touch nothing in room 205 whom ever owns this comfort inn in millersburg Ohio this needs brought to you attention & change your protocol stay out of the room and retrain your maids correctly.& No need for the manger or staff to be outside getting stoned while customers are seeing this first hand shame on you comfort inn in millersburg Ohio .take it to the side set In your cars be discreet bout your habits not in front of the guest a lawsuit...

We will never be staying at a Comfort Inn again! We were extremely disappointed in your establishment for our stay at Comfort Inn Millersburg on September 25-September 30. We chose Comfort Inn only because Holiday Inn Express next door had no vacancies. At check in, we were told that the linens would be changed every 3 days. They were not! In fact, the beds were not even made daily! The top sheet on one bed had a blood stain when we arrived. It was visible as we came into the room after check in before we even touched the bed. Since it was late in the day, we overlooked it for that night, but expected it to be changed when seen by housekeeping the next morning. It not only wasn’t changed, the beds were not made and the trash cans were not even emptied even though they were overflowing! When we took the full trash cans to the front desk, Lauren emptied them and replaced the bags in them, but made the excuse that housekeeping is short-staffed. Again, the beds weren’t made. Lauren said she could give us sheets if we wanted to change the beds! The sheets were finally changed before our last night’s stay, and again there was a blood stain on the sheet! We set the full trash cans near the door so they would be emptied. They were emptied, but left by the door, not put back in their places. The shower was not cleaned ever, there was hair in the shower and sink and the soap was in the bottom of the shower, soggy and wet. We had to ask for additional soaps. There were moths flying around the room every day and a huge spider in the bathroom. We wiped up some water that we dripped on the floor in the room, and the towel we used was black since the floor was never mopped. There was still popcorn kernels on the floor and my white socks were black after walking across the room from the bed to the bathroom. When asked about any compensation for having such a disappointing stay, we were told that she could do nothing about it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We will never stay at a Comfort Inn again!

Read moreBED BUGS my wife and I have used Comfort Inn and Suites over the years and always liked hotels. Clean. Good service. Well upon packing up after staying for 2 nights I discovered a bed bug crawling on the bed! I immediately killed it and took to the first worker I seen and went to the front desk. While I'm talking to the receptionist she's trying to get me to quiet down because "there's other guests here and they don't need to know everything". That really made me upset. Especially if they won't tell other guests so that way they make sure they don't take it home to their families or friends then maybe they knew and didn't tell us! Im sorry but I personally know people who've dealt with bed bugs and there's never just one. Anyways my wife and I went thru hell Sunday to make sure there was no way we could bring any back to our house. But the fact they didn't tell any other guests really blows my mind. I pray for the other guests that no one took any home. And the manager assured me they would be having their exterminator come out. But personally I don't think thats enough. They're not going to pay for anyone else's house to be treated if people got bed bugs from them. We had 2 adjoining rooms. We only got a 50% refund. After the panic and the time wasted and money spent there should have been a full refund for my family with no questions asked! I hope they get this taken care of because I wouldn't wish this on any family. If you stay here don't be afraid to take the sheets off and check the beds. Pillows. From what I've read they can hide just about anywhere. Needless to say after all my family and I have been thru and only being offered a 50% refund we won't be staying here again. Aside from the bed bugs the hotel did appear to be clean. Pool was nice although the hot tub was broke. I just can't in good faith tell people its a good hotel for the price knowing there's a...
