I was so excited to try this place after hotel coffee. Finally, a real cup of coffee, at least that was my hope. I was so encouraged by the welcoming design, kids play area, and the little section of Christian gifts. I also liked the scripture they put on the table tents. Unfortunately, I tried something new and took a total gamble. It was a specialâI believe it was called a lemon bar cheesecake latte. I know, kind of a weird coffee choice. After trying my 6 dollar coffee that held such potential, I was very disappointed as it did not taste like coffee. I asked if I could trade it for something else when the cashier asked the manager, and she said sure. She rang up my new order and was going to charge me for itđłâunexpected and not the right thing to do. I asked again and said, how about a plain coffee to replace this? The cashier called the manager again and she said, âIâm sorry we donât do that here,â with a full on smile. So very disappointed on many levels. This companyâs service does not jive with what I would expect from a company selling Christianity as its decor and gifts.
Moral of this story, donât take a food or beverage risk because if you are disappointed,...
Read moreWe arrived to a packed restaurant! It's obviously a very popular place. We wanted to order their famous JitterDogs but they were all sold out. We ordered several other dishes instead but overall, we were not pleased with the food. The mini pizzas and pizza quesadillas had weird cheese on it (who puts cheddar on pizza, guys??), The tomato tortellini soup had one (1) tortellini in it. The sandwiches were small and not that great for the price they were charging and it took a very long time to get our order (although, they were swamped, so I understand. However, the next time that I need a quick meal, I will definitely take that into consideration). Overall, not impressed... However, the last time I was there several years ago, my son ordered the jitter dog and he still raves about it so in my opinion, go for great coffee and jitter dogs. Pass on...
Read moreThis is by far the largest coffee shop I have seen in some time. Excellent service, very friendly. The selection of drinks and food are astounding. If you cannot find something here then you are just not looking. They even have areas they can close off to accommodate large groups. If you are a coffee fan you must make it over here. No matter the trip it is worth it. Just came back a month later and tried a bagel sandwich and it was terrific. The next time I come back I am going to try the Cobb salad it looks fantastic. The reason for an edit was to say I got the bagel sandwich and they added avacado to it by me asking . This is the only place I have ever got to add avacado to a breakfast sandwich. Kudos you guys rock!!!!! Killer place There should be a six...
