I would never stay here again!!!! My family and I were extremely dissatisfied with our stay. We frequently come to Millersburg, Walnut Creek and Berlin, however we've never stayed here. Literally all the other hotels we normally stay in the area were booked, so this was the only room available outside of going to Dover. From the time we were checking-in an older lady front-desk agent greeted us, and hassled me about my ID. I informed her we just moved days ago and were coming here for a short trip, but assured her my payment method matched up to my new address. I say hassled because she made it difficult when all she needed to do was verify my ID, age and check us into our room. When we finally got the room keys we walked to the elevator and to us the hotel had a mildew smell.
Our room did not look as spectacular as some of the other reviews suggested their rooms were like; our room looked as if it had been made but not really cleaned. The bedding did not look like it had been changed, it looked like it had just been remade for someone to sleep in but did not look clean and fresh to us. If it were not for the cancellation policy, we would have left immediately! We went to our restaurants and stores to try to stay out of our room as long as possible and then came back to find what was the worst part of the trip for me!!!!! In the bathrooms soaps, shampoos and body washes were in liquid form only and they were locked in these weird soap bottle locks(PICTURES ATTACHED). This was not sanitary at all!!!! I am essentially pumping the same handsoap/body wash/shampoo bottles as someone else before me. And the bottles were not even completely filled, suggesting that they had not been filled or changed after other guests. This is the perfect setup for germs to breed and be spread from person to person, instead of just using bar soaps. I refused to shower here, and we left after our 1 night to a different place.
Our room phone would not call down to the front desk it just got a dial-tone. My wife had to call from her cell phone to the front desk when we needed an extra blanket. The larger gentleman that was on night shift was definitely less than helpful or polite. He told her someone would have to come downstairs to get the blanket, and when she came downstairs he rudely told her "it's on the table over there". Overall, terrible service for us, and definitely things we do not consider sanitary or quality. We would have left initially if the cancellation policy would not have charged us for doing so. I would not recommend...

Room was clean.
Like the environmentally friendly shampoo (large container mounted on shower wall).
Employees were very friendly.
They discounted our stay due to room error.
We received a complimentary item from marketplace.
BAD
Don’t print paper receipts unless a guest requests one. Can’t believe you’re still doing this and wasting paper, ink and money!
Provide a 2nd bar of soap for the shower. I don’t use bath gel so I had to use the bar of hand soap in the shower then put it back at the sink.
Have egg white items in stock at breakfast.
Don’t allow dogs in the area where we’re getting my food! SO GROSS!
Guests should get the room they reserve! We reserved 2 queens online then I called with my specific requests of a walk in shower on the top floor. I was told it wouldn’t be a problem and she had that exact room type held for us. When we arrived, it was a king on the 2nd floor! She moved us to 2 queens on the 3rd floor and said it had a walk in shower but it didn’t, it had a tub!
Have fresher fruit at breakfast - bananas were past their prime.
Employee who checked us in REEKED of cigarette smoke - don’t allow that!

Read moreI will definitely stay here again upon my next visit. The accommodations were great. The hotel has been open for about a year now and it looks brand new.
The shower is awesome. I like that the shampoo, conditioner and soap are J.T. Watkins products and they are readily available right in the shower, no more little bottles. They smell great too! I like the walk-in feature without the bathtub. I wouldn't use the tub in a hotel anywhere. The safety features are a nice plus. The window blinds are push button automatic. The beds are soft and comfortable, lots of pillows. I really liked the area to place suitcases up and open at waist level for easy access and room for two or three. The electrical outlets along with charging station was right below the wall mounted tv for convenience and room to place things.
The small sofa with leg rest attached was different and nice. I love to see Bibles in the rooms for prayers and reading. I would love to post the pictures of the bathroom right now but my camera is not readily available at this time. It was especially nice for a hotel bath. Thank you for making our stay pleasurable. It was...
