The black lady (late 50s maybe), salt pepper hair, with glasses that works the front desk is so unprofessional. #1 She was on the phone the entire time I was talking to her. The person was on speaker phone and heard the entire conversation. Thank God I didn't share any personal information. #2 She was talking about me when I walked away to the person that she was on the phone with. I went back to address her rude and disrespectful behavior and she said and I quote "it's my personal business when I'm on my phone". I said roger that and walked away. BE WARNED when you encounter her. Funny thing, she is the same person who checked me in when I came to this hotel in January and she was nice nasty then. My suggestion is that she gets some professional training on customer service and ALL STAFF learn and practice customer satisfaction. From the slamming of the dishes during breakfast because someone made a mess, to balloons being stuck in the ceiling and no one being able to get them down, to the dirty/broken chairs and couches in the rooms, and non working washer and dryer, this hotel really needs some attention. Atleast the breakfast is consistent when they have the items. UPDATE: Went to the front desk to extend my room and was told I was good to go. Check the app and nope. Nothing 😒 Get to my room and find my food, that was my families dinner, was taken out by housekeeping. Suddenly they're throwing my things out. If I didn't spend $45 on the food and had already been eating on it, I wouldn't care, but THE FOOD WAS NOT EVEN EATEN! 🙃 At this point just give me my money back.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn in Millington was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had, especially considering the difficult circumstances we were under. In town for a funeral, we hoped to find comfort and cleanliness—basic expectations that were shockingly unmet. Room 410 was in an appalling state. As pictured, filth covered the chair, the drapes were visibly dirty, and the ceiling showed extensive stains. It was hard to believe we were in a well-known hotel brand, and frankly, the state of the room made an already heart-wrenching trip even worse. Trying to sleep was impossible. What made this experience truly unbearable was the lack of empathy or action. We reached out to the front desk, called the toll-free support number, and escalated to management. Every call, every plea, was met with indifference. No one cared enough to even check in with us, much less offer any viable solutions, just generic responses and insincere apologies. Our experience at Hampton Inn Millington was beyond disappointing; it was hurtful. This is not just about cleanliness—it’s about respect and basic human decency. This hotel failed on both fronts. I sincerely hope that this review prompts management to take a hard look at their standards and reconsider how they treat guests, especially in times of grief. No family should endure such disregard, especially when they are already hurting.

Experience did not match the price point. I am traveling on business and had an unexpected delay on my local visit. In the twenty minutes I was looking at options, this hotel price jumped $20.00 for the night. Due to the proximity to my project site, the ample parking as I was towing a trailer and my last experience with a Hampton, I decided that it would be better to be close. I paid $200.00 for the night. This hotel is a $70/night hotel at best. While there is ample parking and a clean, lighted lot, the room was on par with what I picture a motel 6 to be. Very dated. As far as being clean, there is a point where dated and poorly maintained can make the cleanest room look dirty. When I went to make a cup of coffee, the kurig put out quarter cup and checked out on me. I know there is coffee in the lobby but again, 200.00/night, things should work! Parts missing from the sink, dated and worn furniture and a kurig that would not work all detracted from my satisfaction with the price point. There was only 1 elevator working. I would think that would be fine in a small, 4 floor hotel. The one working elevator was quite slow. If you can stay here for under $100/night, it will be an ok stay. Anything over, you are wasting your money. UPDATE: Every single employee I encountered was very helpful and the cleaning team was all over working hard. This has no reflection on the staff.

Don’t waste your time staying here unless you want to be totally on your own and feel like you have a room in the middle of an animal shelter. Pets are allowed but they scatter those guests throughout hotel so when guests leave dogs in room and the dogs bark non stop the staff will go knock on that rooms door to basically verify no one is in the room and then do nothing. No notes to those guests about complaints from others not being able to rest and so forth so those guests are clueless of the annoyance they are. Instead after 3 nights we get offered to move rooms to possibly a quieter area. Why am I penalized during the middle of my stay when I am not the cause of the problem? Why not be professional and resolve the issue since we weren’t the only guests complaining about unruly noisy dogs? The night shift staff sleep in the breakfast area during their shifts. We were at this location for an unexpected death in the family and during our stay the area received an unprecedented amount of snow which caused the entire town restaurants stores etc to shut down. Being from Florida and used to dealing with hurricanes and no electricity and storm damage but stores still function and keep doors open we weren’t expecting the town to shut down leaving no where to eat or get supplies. The hotel did not not have or chose not to implement any emergency protocols to assist their guests with no eating or supply options besides purchasing over priced snacks from them. If the coffee is empty at the front desk they refuse to make more until the next day. Breakfast isn’t worth even attempting to eat but it is something. The bathroom had dirty black looking handprints on bathroom door and the desk chair was cream colored at one time but brown stains and spots all in the seat along with stains on room carpet. After nothing being done about such poor service called the 800 guest services number they tried to contact this location directly and could not get any staff to answer the phone call on a Saturday evening. Don’t waste your time or money with this hotel. Very disappointed with this being a reputable hotel chain paying premium rate to stay and feeling like I stayed at a...

Stayed there for a week while on business in Millington. Let's just say that the hotel exceeded expectations and was an enjoyable stay.

The staff at the hotel were all friendly and were willing to assist with any of our needs. The check in process was easy which was nice after a day of flying.

The rooms were large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The Internet service in the room was fast enough to where I was able to connect securely to my company's network remotely. The cable TV service at the hotel was Direct TV so the picture/sound was excellent.

The hotel itself is clean throughout and the staff does offer an evening social hour of chips and drinks in the breakfast area. Breakfast in the morning is from 6 to 10 and offers an excellent variety of choices.

It was too cold outside to use the outdoor pool but the fitness center was used. Found the fitness center to exceed the standards of fitness room that are at other hotels. Had choices of either a treadmill, eliplitical or bike for cardio. Plus they had a weight machine that several different weightlifting options.

The hotel is located a few minutes north of the main shopping area with several restaurants options of Chick FIL A, Chili's, Buffalo Wild Wings. Someone in my work group suggested Smokin D's BBQ. There are two restaurants located within a short walk but they aren't that great. At the Japanese steakhouse, we saw a field mouse running around as we were finishing up. Then the other restaurant had slow service according to one of my co workers.

Overall, this property is an outstanding Hilton Brand hotel. Exceeds the high quality that the Hilton brand hotels strives to achieve. Highly recommend this place for either work or...
