A different hotel. The people who designed these rooms should find a new career field. The bed has one night stand, the other side is designed for a 2x4 to slide through sideways. The crown moulding was hung by someone who does not understand the way it should look. They have several light spectrums in a small space, making seeing colors difficult. The bathroom lights are very dim. I do like that each switch has a dimmer built-in though. The mattress is very nice, it swollows you up and is comfortable. The parking lot is not walked each day as the entire week we stayed here there has been a pair of abandoned underwear just baking in the sun. No hair dryers, no fridge/freezer in the room, no vent in the bathroom, and no desk in which to sit normal; just a small table and a cushion bench. The shower has two heads, so you either get rained on or if you are over 5'6" you bend down to your nipples for water to hit your head. It is nice that there are no children here. Note that coffee is NOT included, you pay $10 for two cups through the front desk. Their fancy coffee machine is still broke. They will put your cooler packs in a freezer in the bar area. Lastly, if you like to sleep cool this is not the hotel for you as the wall mounted HVAC is undersized for the space. It can be set to 62F and run all day, and will only get the room down to about 71F.

At first I was a little skeptical of this place because of the reviews and relatively low price compared to other hotels in the area. However once I stepped in the room my first thought popped up was that it's really a steal for the price I paid. First off this is a minimalist hotel similar to autocamp. Yes there is no microwave and fridge but there are in the public area of each floor. The microwave was exceedingly well kept which is much cleaner than some nasty room microwaves I've seen in other hotels. You get the same kinds of amenities in autocamp as well but you will pay 1.5x or 2x of the price. Second this hotel is brand new so you can barely see any wear and tears. The doors, walls and window are well insulated that I could not hear any outside noise. The retro style decoration is very unique as well. Apparently the owners had put in a lot of efforts to operate their boutique hotel. You can tell the owners definitely love their property. And the lighting is warm themed, which was very soothing for me. I felt very relaxed in such a room after a long day of adventure in national parks. I also worked on my laptop a little bit and did not find any issues with the lighting. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful. They make me feel like home 900 miles away from California. In short you won't get a better choice at this price.

A bit disappointing honestly. I was really looking forward to our stay due to the good reviews. However, the rooms were small, dark and pretty damp (the windows don’t open). The AC is extremely noisy, making it impossible to have it on while sleeping. Furthermore, our room was at the end of the hallway next to the street and gas station, so we got woken up many times by passing vehicles. Additionally, there is nowhere to put your bags, clothes or jackets. Therefore, the already small room felt extra cramped with everything on the floor and small desk. The bathroom and shower are nice with good water pressure, but water takes ages to heat up. Also, it is very dark, more light would have been great, as well as towel hooks that are not directly above/next to the toilet. The location is great being close to both Arches park and downtown Moab. The bar was not yet open during our stay which was a bummer, but at least we were close to restaurants. We were supposed to wear wrist bands which took away from the experience as they are uncomfortable to sleep in and look a bit tacky walking around. Also, while the lift works, it was a questionable ride up so we took the stairs the rest of our stay. Overall, I feel like the hotel missed a chance to provide a truly comfortable and luxurious experience.

A lot of mixed reviews for this place but this place was really great! They’re new and just opened about a month and a half ago. They don’t have the restaurant and bar open yet but when they do this place will be even more great! There’s plenty of restaurants to go to that are very close. Adults only made the stay so chill and quiet. Pool was very relaxing with no kids running around or screaming. Pool was clean, hot tub looked dirty but it’s not it’s the paint that changed color or something. pool cleaner tried scrubbing it pretty good but didn’t budge, they may have to just repaint it or something. Pool area had great shade! The outside lounge chairs are a little uncomfortable, some padding on them would be great! This hotel is pretty unique. Soon as we checked in the smell of the hotel smelled so good. The rooms are very nice. It is a pretty dim room and bathroom but you can tell this is what they were going for so no complaints about that from me, it gave it a very different vibe that I liked. Especially being out in the sun and brightness all day, coming back to a dark dimmed room felt good in my opinion. Beds were comfortable. AC worked great! TV is off centered to the bed not sure if you can adjust it, didn’t try but has Netflix and stuff you can sign in to your own and has cable. Customer service was really good! They have a water dispenser to fill up your water bottles every time you leave the hotel or whenever you like! They have a refreshing water that’s sooo good at the front desk had to stop every time to get some when I walked by. Everything is so close to the hotel you can walk or take a 5-10 min drive. They have free coffee and pastries in the morning since they don’t have their restaurant open yet which was good to make up for it in the mean time. Bare with them and let them work out their kinks! I’ll definitely be coming back here...

I really wanted to love this place but it was definitely built to be more aesthetic than practical. Staff was great. Very pleasant and helpful.

A few things that were cons for me:

•I have to start with the cockroach we saw in the stairwell on our last day. Alive & well. And the stairwell smelled like mildew.

•When we checked in & got to our room, it had not been cleaned. The bed was unmade, trash was in the bathroom. Front desk was quick to fix the issue.

•Rooms are SMALL & dark. We had a single queen and the bathroom took up half the room. When you’re in the bathroom & pull the doors shut, they don’t close all the way. Not practical.

•No closet? I thought a few of the panels would be, but nope. Lots of counter space, but no closet or anywhere to hang a coat or wet towels from the pool (there are 2 hooks in the bathroom RIGHT by the toilet) or anywhere to put luggage away.

•Our TV did not work. The remote turned it on & off. After troubleshooting unsuccessfully with the front desk, my partner found that a plug was loose. This was hard to determine due to the frame around the TV.

•No hot water. We ran the water in the shower for a solid 5 and barely got hot.

•The hot tub was more of a warm tub. Maybe it’s just me, but it felt like the same temp as the pool and the jets were lacking. We went back the 2nd night & it was warmer. The sauna did not work and the fireplace pits didn’t either.

•lack of garbage cans. This seems silly, but there are literally no garbage cans I saw in the common areas. I had just driven 4 hours and showed up to check in with some trash & no where to throw it. The common area by our room had a hole in the countertop cut out for it, but it literally dropped into a cabinet?

I won’t be...

I wish I could rate this hotel higher, but I just can’t. The hotel has lots of character, very well designed, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, but ultimately it is not functional for the most important aspect of a hotel: sleeping.

The rooms are lovely, really cool designed, but just not functional. The AC’s (which have been mentioned countless times in the reviews) are so loud and make the room freezing rather than cool. The units rumble and shake so much you can’t sleep. There was also a very loud very annoying sound from either other AC units nearby or something else, I can’t fully pinpoint it but there was a constant sound maybe vacuuming or something but it would intensely vibrate and then shut off for 30 seconds and then start back up, so you never get a good nights sleep. The shutters in the room also allow for a decent amount of light to come in and hit the ceiling, so the room lit up as soon as the sun came up. I highly suggest the front desk to offer ear plugs and an eye mask if both of these issues are not remedied.

Beyond that, the bathroom is also not functional given that there is no counter space?? So you have to put your toiletries on the toilet seat, and the sink is low and small. The room is also pretty dark with nowhere to hang anything and the vinyl was a religious album which definitely threw me off.

Again, the hotel has so much character and I was genuinely excited to stay here but given that I couldn’t do the most basic thing (sleep), I wouldn’t stay here again. Hopefully these issues can be fixed, but seeing so many people complain about the sound in the other reviews I’m...
