I am just completely baffled by the service my family and i got from this establishment. Before even finishing our game in the 10th frame our lane was cut off. Upon arriving to this bowling alley i spoke to one young man about getting my group of 14 split into groups to bowl two games. The first person told me hold on then walked off. Second guy at the register talked to me told me hold on then walked over never to be seen again. At this point I’m confused and wondering if it’s a problem. I then proceeded to wait 10 mins patiently while the last remaining employee took care of a customer problem. Once he finally got to me a line had formed behind me. I informed him i had a group of 14 and we wanted to purchase two games. He tells me he will start us off with just one. He then tells me they can only do it on 1 card and not multiple transactions which was also weird because if we came in separate it’ll be the same. And furthermore we were a group of couples so it was only 4-5 cards being shipped. He then further complicated the situation by giving us a total and having us tell the amount we were playing which made absolutely no sense. This man that is seen in the photo cut our lanes off while we were still playing and then lied and said it wasn’t him and he didn’t do it. The only other person behind the counter was a non employee who was his wife. He also told us he was a manger and in the same sentence told us he had to go get a manger which he never did. Told us if it doesn’t look busy to them they can close early. It was 14 people in our group plus other customers bowling so it was pretty busy. We tried to purchase our second game at 10pm and was denied due to THEM believing we couldn’t finish by 11.even though the website and door says closed at 12am. We only came there due to it saying they close late. From the jump we were racially profiled and discriminated against. This establish meant does not support black people and has showed us they do not care about paying customers. I will never return to this place and if you are a person of color i wouldn’t go there with my family either. I would give NEGATIVE 50...
Read moreI recently had a birthday party here. I was worried when I first called and spoke to the event coordinator named Marie - she was very rude on the phone and made me reconsider having a party here but I'm glad that I didn't change my mind.
I went in to put down my deposit and spoke with someone different - a man working at the first desk. He was really nice and said if I needed to make any changes to the number of people who were coming to my party, just to call and let them know, also told me I only had to put down a $25 deposit whereas rude Marie had grouchily told me on the phone it was a $75 deposit.
Got there the day of the party and spoke with a staff member at the front desk, I think his name was Brian, he was really nice and so was our server. The cosmic bowling experience was unique and fun.
Besides speaking to the rude event coordinator, the other few things I'd complain about are how we got our pizza really late (we were bowling from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. and the pizza finally arrived at 4 p.m.), some of the arcade games were out of order, and once 4:30 p.m. hit they just shut off all of the bowling lights and lanes, which left everyone confused on what was going on.
I knew we were supposed to bowl from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. but I didn't expect them to actually shut everything down like that - I thought that they'd at least let us play until 5 p.m. or they could have at least made an announcement saying they were getting ready to shut down all of the lanes and lights.
Overall, though, my party and I had a fun time and I'd come back to this bowling alley for another party or just for a leisure day with friends and/or family. Good prices for the amount of people I had in my party, food was pretty good, and the bowling...

I came with a group of 7 and we had two lanes. We got 3 games. During the first 3 games, one of the lanes was continuously malfunctioning. I kept going to the front desk and asked them to reset the pins. They never switched us to a new lane (several were open). Finally, halfway through the second game, I asked if we would be reimbursed for the games since we waited a total of 40 minutes for them to fix the lane. The supervisor claimed we waited a total of 20 minutes at most and said this was normal.
After another malfunction on the lane (~5 minutes) he said “fine, you can have a free game”. At this point, I started recording the time it took to fix the lane. Before the end of the third game, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the lane to be fixed. I asked if he gave the other lane a free game too, he said “fine I will”. We all came as a group and it seemed weird they wouldn’t give us both a game.
During the free game, we spent a total of 25 minutes waiting for them to fix the lane. At the end of the game, I asked the supervisor if we could have a drink coupon or any type of reimbursement for our time. He laughed and asked if I wanted a million dollars.
It was a strange experience. The supervisors here don’t seem to care about your experience at all.
There are plenty of other good bowling alleys in the area. I would suggest any other than Thunderbowl.
I gave 2 stars because the bartenders were friendly and the pizza was good. The supervisor at least gave us 1 free game. They also had a good special on pizza (half off).
