OH MY GOSH!!!!! I have been traveling home to the Milton Pa area for over the past 23 years now. I have stayed in several hotels in the area and was not pleased. Like others, I assumed if your paying top dollar for your stay, the better your stay would be, sadly I was been mistaken. On this particular trip, i decided to change things up a bit by staying outside of the Milton area. So i settled for a hotel within the Selinsgrove area to rest before I continued my on my journey for the night. The Fairfield Inn & Suites looked pleasing to the eye and was well kept from the outside, but as we entered, it literally blew my mind! Access to the lobby was wonderful with a luggage racks brought to me as I was exiting my vehicle. The lobby was well lit and warm, it looked like a cozy 5 star hotel, literally, no lights were out anywhere inside or out. The front desk help was pleasant and the check-in was done within just a couple minutes, great price too! I also had one employee offer to assist me with my luggage to my room as the employee had seen that I was not only pushing a luggage rack full with my family's belongings, but also carrying several shoulder luggage bags. I declined the offer because the employee was a woman. lol The food was also great, me and my family did not even have to go elsewhere before we continued on our journey the next day. We only had a few miles to go to reach the Milton Pa area traveling from Georgia and the kids were hyped, but when they seen the pool, they literally did not want to leave. lol I had to drag them out of it. lol Unlike other hotels, when sending my younger kids to the pool area, it always posed a problem. It usually would ended with them being asked of their room number, or room key. But not at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, the staff came in and only asked if they need more towels. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Fabulously run establishment!!! Because of this one pitstop, me and my family ended up spending our days in Milton and traveling back to Selinsgrove to the Fairfield inn & Suites at night for the whole 5 day duration of our stay in Pennsylvania. This trip indeed is a trip that me and my kids will never forget... HATS OFF, GREAT JOB, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! #Preciousmemories. We will be back and will be referring other family members returning...
Read moreThis was a late Wedding Anniversary get away for my husband and I. We have never stayed at this Hotel, So we had no idea what to expect. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot and walked through the doors, to the moment we opened our door to our room. We were both in aww. 😀 This is by far the Cleanest, Nicest, and most accommodating hotels we have ever stayed at. I read other reviews about the Staff being so friendly and kind. That is No Understatement. I cannot speak on behalf of the other FairField Hotels, But I can say this one has the Best Staff by Far!!! The gentleman we met the first night that always works 2nd shift, (I would LOVE to know his name)... He is the sweetest man!! ❤️, The housekeeping, With the job they do, They are always smiling and wishing you a wonderful day. The wonderful people that set up breakfast, The kind lady we talked to was an absolute delight!! And wanted nothing more than to make sure we were well fed. Hahaha. I could go on and on, I have to add this. If and when you stay here and let me say if you don't you will be disappointed. Literally 350ft from the hotel is a Marzonnis Italian Restaurant that's has AMAZIMG food, Ice Cold Beer, a Beautiful Patio dining area, and Staff members that are incredible. I can say, We our looking forward to our 18th Wedding Anniversary and this is at the top of the list for places to stay. Keep up the good work. It's...
Read moreA brand new Marriott - right off the main road with the typical mall stores. And it looked brand new and great. Food chains, Walmart, movie theatre all almost within walking distance. The entrance is hard to find and hard to pull out of with a blind curve to the left. They need a sign where to turn. A sign maybe in the works the place is so new.
My only complaint was with the Bonvoy app, which you're supposed to be able to use as a key. Just don't try using it as a key on checkout day. The option to use your phone as a key disappears and just offers to check you out. Not very convenient coming back from breakfast and finding you don't have your electronic key @ 8AM in the morning. (Checkout is 12N).
The Marriott is like other Marriotts what gave this a 5-star rating was Kalliff the second shift manager. You could tell he enjoyed his job and he was GOOD at it. He made us feel like a guest in his house not a hotel chain. Over and beyond he got me some orange cones to insure no one tripped over my car charging cable when I plugged it in at the back of the hotel. Marriott if you're listening give...
