I stayed here about 2 years ago and had no issues. I’m not sure if it’s under new ownership but it’s not the same. I’m wondering if it’s Expedia and whether I should book directly with the hotel chain directly or join the membership program. I ended up being locked out of the bathroom, and had a room change. The bathroom locked on its own when I closed the door. This room was just broken down. Other issues before I moved at like 10pm: 1. Missing tub stopper and no interest in getting me a new one. 2. Thermostat not working. 3. Dirty tub and toilet. No hot water or tub stopper. 4. Preferential treatment for some while others are ignored. 5. Heard the kindness expressed by the front clerk for guests who checked in after me while I wasn’t afforded the handicapped room I initially booked. Left early this morning. Said “Good Morning” to the clerk. She disregarded my speaking and when I said aloud okay (like you’re really not going to speak?) she responded she didn’t know I was checking out which made no sense. I’m really tired of paying full price but getting 2nd class accommodations. This room should have been free. It wasn’t fully functional.

Went just to have a change of atmosphere when preparing food. Just wanted to know if you could actually cook a good meal in a simple hotel suite. The hotel was pretty clean overall. The room was pretty clean but, not perfect in terms of totally being together clean. There were some missing screw covers on the toilet. The screws looked pretty yucky. The shower/ tub could have been a little nicer looking too. The kitchen was very small with just a 2 burner cook top, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The room also came with cooking utensils including pots, pan, plates and some storage containers. It took a lot more time and creativity to make a really good then at my home. But, it is doable if necessary. Great customer service. Front people I meet were very nice.

The rooms here are great! It's basically a mini apartment with a full kitchen (complete with appliances, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker and cookware). The bathroom is also full sized and spacious. As for the room, its spacious, stylish and offers a huge desk, recliner, giant bed, cold air conditioning and ample lighting. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. As for service... your pretty much on your own the moment after you receive your keys. If you need anything at all, you will have to come to the front desk. There's a mini store down in the lobby, but prices are excessively high. ($1.75) for a 12oz can soda high! So be sure to bring your own items, or walk across the parking lot to the nearby gas station.

Always start with the positives! I stayed the second weekend of July this year (last week). Marlon the front desk staff person was absolutely amazing! He was polite, friendly, accommodating and was able to manage a bunch of different people at once considering I arrived at what seemed to be a busy time. So, pulling into the parking lot the building seemed dated and old basic parking lot with a variety of vehicles in it. Got inside, small lobby but seemed well decorated/clean. Clientele was certainly diverse. Marlon got me checked in quickly/smoothly so I ran to get my belongings in the car. Got to the room door & the keycard didn’t work. Made my way back down to Marlon, he gave me a keycard to another room across the hall. Opened the door & the room smelled funny, it was old & the carpet looked dingy but I figured it was just the dark color. Some parts of the kitchenette were updated other parts weren’t. Bathroom seemed fine. Toilet paper roll broke off when I used it. I stood on the carpet for a while playing with the TV. TV got one channel. Whatever. I felt weird little pokes on my feet & legs but didn’t think much of it until I got out to my car to grab dinner my legs were itching like crazy. I stopped along my way to get dinner & checked the reviews of the place & panicked. So yes there were probably fleas in the carpet. I got back, told Marlon but at that point I was too freaked out to stay. Marlon said he would absolutely change my room immediately. I went up, gathered my belongings & told him I was leaving. He was on the phone with his manager & both were very apologetic & nice about the whole thing. Gave me a a full refund & I went & found another hotel. I felt bad cuz poor Marlon seemed so caught off guard by the whole thing but he was just wonderful! Just feel bad the...

When I first arrived at the hotel. The young lady at the front desk was very welcoming. I had booked a single studio and was given a great price. Donna was very good and her communication was great. I ended bringing my niece and my 2 nephews at the last minute due to her mom and my sister's untimely death. After uncle Rukus.. aka Marlon reported that I had them with me. The entire staff began treating us like trash!!! Mind you I never have ever been treated in such a way as this place! I had gotten behind a few days not weeks due to my car incident. I settled my debt the following week and left. The staff began telling us that they were without toiletries, and everything else. Also, one of the staff members hit on my niece and it went further if you know what I mean. Yes, she is an adult and makes her own decisions. Still, unprofessional especially when the room was rented by the staff member whom also ignored my calls while I was trying to pay the hotel what was owed. I called for 4 hours and no one would answer the phone. It took the 11 pm staff to take my payment whom Also hung up in my face. I am not a violent person and neither is my family. I was not offered a bigger room. I was actually bullied by the staff by not communicating with me. Chris the manager, as I was leaving I saw you give Marlon aka uncle Rukus a thumbs up meaning good job for getting them out! Marlon only told the Supervisor about my niece and her 2 little ones because she was not interested in him! If you are going to report anything. Tell the...

The lodging is serviceable but it is not for everybody. The hallway carpeting is definitely worn and you can see the visible traffic patterns from years of wear. The kitchen knives could barely cut an apple. No wine opener - I had to buy one! (I prepared dinner/breakfast daily) The rooms lack attention to detail....they are not maintained well and need a facelift. Carpeting was not install properly and rough edges with the surface underneath showing....The shower head was rusty looking around the water spouts and with some vinegar could be cleaned. I used a paper towel to get as much off as I could. TV - what a joke! With the limited channels that are offered at an extended stay lodging, most of them didn't work the entire time I was there (8 nights). There are also some questionable characters that lurk around the hotel - near a gazebo on the property - and empty liquor bottles littering the parking lot. On a positive note...sleep quality was good - decent mattress, sheets, pillows. Also - the laundry room is tricky. The machines operated via an app. You have to load $10 MINIMUM into the app just to use a machine....and of course, the app company keeps the change. The only way to break even is with 10 loads of wash. I did not use the gym but that seemed to be the nicest and most updated part of...
