Support local brews! Great selection of constantly rotating beers. Plenty IPAs. 10 taps. Space is inviting, with plenty houseplants to keep the vibe strong along with the subway tile and relaxed seating. Great banter and a few TVs for the local sports. Plenty beers to go, cans of liquid death H2O, small snacks, and crowlers available too. Vinyl night on Wednesday 5pm onwards, Trivia too, check the calendar for occasional food trucks (or just get Tokyo Ramen to go). Don't forget about the live music! Peep their IG for updates on events! A great new spot and the best reason to visit Parsippany, NJ. If can, can, if no can, still can! Yessah blessah, neva stressa!

Update 1/1/25 W/photo: I’ve been back a number of times and there’s always something tasty on deck. They rotate through new brews regularly and right now they have some experimental’s canned to-go that I really dig. The stout in the pic, I’m drinking as I write this haha. Really though you couldn’t go wrong with anything there. If you wanna try something unique def pick up a pack of the cream ale before it runs out. It’s got a really mellow/smooth taste that I’m in to. New and delicious, this place really blew me always with what they had on tap. Looking forward to what they have in store

Autodidact is just off of Route 10 in Morris Plains (heading east). The front parking lot is easy to miss, but that's OK because there is tons of space in the back lot, just take the next street off of 10. Since they opened last year, Autodidact has showcased an exceptional lineup of brews with a clear focus on their IPAs. However, there are plenty of other options for non-hopheads too! I personally think their best beer is the Wash Farmhouse Grisette. The taproom vibe is very chill. Bring a few friends and a charcuterie board for a fun afternoon.

Walked into what looks like a relaxed laid-back lounge with some chairs and some seating area with games to play with a cool vibe and then looked up on the menu of beers that they have and noticed that there's no description of the beers and wondered why? Well, after speaking to one of the brew masters Ron (both of the Brewers are named Ron thats cool) you realize that they don't want to bias your profile or tasting notes of the experience that you have with your own taste and that made complete sense to me. It was like an Aha! moment because not any other brewery that I've been to has that mysteire about it where you have to figure out what the tastes are for yourself after experiencing it. And honestly, I could say after every experience (aka beer) that I had not only did I get more and more impressed by the fact that I was enjoying every single one that they had including their selections of IPAs, but I was more impressed that one after the next they were ALL consistently good! Rare find! Def going back there again (plan to do so today infact;))! Worth a visit to this hidden gem that's run by great people A++ in my...

The beer here is fine. It’s good. My problem was the service and the attitude we received while trying to grab some beer to take to the ramen place next door. The service was extremely slow. The lady behind us was going to just turn around and walk out and she just wanted to buy a single 4 pack. I brought a growler and was told they don’t fill growlers. I asked nicely that I was just curious why they don’t fill growlers, and was rudely and curtly told that it’s because they’re dirty and they don’t want to deal with it. Fair enough but the attitude was palpable. So we can only buy crowler of theirs to go no problem. I had taken my growler back out to the vehicle. While we continued to wait and wait. And they get to filling our 4 crowlers and they can’t find their lids for them anywhere, Friday night and they’re out of can lids. They say, ok well we will fill your growler, but it’s now back in the vehicle and I didn’t want to go get it at this point, so they finally just let us take the lidless cans over to the ramen place. I’m not so sure I’ll ever go back...

Two stars only because the beer is fantastic! Otherwise, one star. Cool vibes with good music too. Unfortunately if you’re popping in for a beer the service is terrible. Rude and inattentive service with a bad attitude. No hello, no smiles, no eye contact, no thank you when paying. Sat down at an empty bar and three bartenders passed without any acknowledgment. There were 4 people in the entire place—not like it was slammed. I have immense respect for bartenders so it’s tough writing a bad review. Seems like they don’t want to sell their product. Great beer, but the staff desperately needs training. They were talking to each other the whole time. Cursing and gossiping about their own lives and complaining about their coworkers in front of customers. That’s fine, we all vent, but make sure you’re serving your customers at the same time. They desperately need sales help. I might suggest a meeting to get everyone on the same page. Will not be back. Try Fort Nonsense a few miles...
