My experience with your hotel in Mosses Lake was awful the duvet for bed was dirty and the bottom sheet had crusty crap on the sheets. It was obvious that the room was not cleaned and after looking at other parts of the room disinfectant has not been used in this century. Next time I am in Mosses Lake I will expect to see this site rebranded as a cheap hourly motel with the current management Right after checking in we left for a family emergency and when we returned and realized how bad the room was we had to sleep on top of the bedding. The phone headset was stuck to the phone base from all the sticky stuff had not been cleaned. The room was obviously not disinfected or even vacuumed which one would expect due to COVID-19. Housekeeping went into the room while I had a do not disturb sign on the door. I had medication on the bed and did not want anyone in the room and obviously respecting people’s privacy is no longer something your hotel chain provides. While with my dying father, I received a threatening note from Brandon that I had to check out by 3pm or I will be charged another night because they are not giving late check out no matter of status due to COVID-19. I shared with Brandon how dirty the room was and the fact that the bedding was not changed and was obviously not taken care of. He did not do anything to address the problem, oh he gave us two free coffee for living in another person's mess. The staff failed to advise me at check-in that I would not get my late check out due to COVID-19. I guess they also forgot to tell me they are not cleaning or sanitizing rooms due to the pandemic either. As a guest that stays with you a lot I am horrified of the lack of cleanliness of the room and was so disrespected. I did not even take a shower because I did not feel safe because the shower was so dirty. All of this and I gave the hotel business for two rooms with the rest of the hotel vacant. I will never use this hotel again and frankly, this has left me to avoid your brand...
Read moreWe had a wedding and called to reserve a room several MONTHS in advance. We expressed concern that I am severely allergic to dogs and cats, which triggers severe asthma and worried that I would end up with a room that had had an animal in it prior. We have had good luck with Marriott, but they have always been so accommodating and put us in a room on the top floor, indicating that most people with animals (including those who sneak them into hotels that prohibit them) stay on one of the lower floors. Fairfield Inn & Suites Moses Lake assured us that they could accommodate us in that way and would make sure we got a room on the top floor for our four-night stay. We were relieved. However, when we arrived, they had a room for us on the BOTTOM floor. After much talk, they finally agreed to let us have a room on the second floor. I was so wary because I have a difficult time getting the asthma under control once triggered, so it was a gamble. As it turned out, I was okay, but I was okay IN SPITE of their efforts, not because of them. If they were unwilling to accommodate us, I wish they had been honest and upfront when we initially called. ||Three out of the four nights, kids ran up and down the halls pounding on doors at 10:30 at night. We called the front desk and I know others did too. ||I have never stayed in any hotel that did not have a closet. This room instead had a small and very inadequate wardrobe for hanging short items such as shirts and pants. I had two dresses for the wedding and had no place to hang them. ||There were no extra pillows or blankets anywhere in the room and there was one single office chair, but otherwise nowhere to sit other than on the bed. ||I know Fairfield is not a full Marriott, but we had assumed there would be a similar level of hospitality and integrity in this chain. It was our first time to stay in a Fairfield and likely our last. We were...
Read moreWe were so happy to check in to the Fairfield after a terrible experience in a neighboring older chain hotel whom we assumed was dumping bleach into their filthy and fly-infested Pool. We had checked out the day after checking in there, and I looked up the rates for Fairfield on my BonVoy app, which were less expensive than the dated room we had at the hotel next door. We were SO happy to walk in to a clean and welcoming hotel, the staff was phenomenal and made our stay so much better with how friendly and accommodating they were. I used to work in the restaurant industry and seeing a man in an Ecolab coat reassured me that not only was this hotel cleaner, it was probably safer to eat and swim at than the previous chain hotel we’d just checked out of. The room was clean, efficient and my kids enjoyed having their own part of the room with their own TV in the King Suite. We requested more bedding and towels and the front desk & the man who delivered it couldn’t have been friendlier. It was also convenient being located near the freeway and in the same parking lot as Starbucks, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Taco Time, Carl’s, and a Chinese Restaurant as well as a few other sit down restaurants and gas stations. It was a wonderful end to our weekend and we plan on booking through my BonVoy app from...
