Dragon Express — Restaurant in Moses Lake

Dragon Express is what you get if you're feeling like greasy, overly oily, Americanized Chinese food. It is served from a display case with hot water bath chaffing dishes and it's a very good value. The veggies are always cooked well and have a satisfying wok fresh crunch. The made to order food is always satisfying as well, of which I recommend the honey walnut shrimp. It is deep fried and covered in a sweet, creamy sauce with walnuts. It's very rich and indulgent , and if you have it as one of your entrees in a large combo meal for lunch, expect to be full until 10pm.

All of the dishes can be combined in cominations of 2 to 3 with a side for better value than al a cart pricing. The sides you receive are either sparsely dressed fried rice (you're lucky if you find a tiny but of egg) or chow mein. I typically get the rice because the noodles seem a bit more oily and don't taste as good.

In summary, it is a good alternative to Safeway deli Chinese for fast and value...

Food is great! Been eating here for years. Every time we go now the larger lady behind the register is rude or makes a snide remark. I ordered for two and we ate and I went to get another plate to go for my mother and the large lady goes “damn you already ate that and want more? I cant finish a plate myself.” Lady you are going to lose your limbs you’re so large, you aren’t fooling anyone. She has messed up our to go order there twice now. Maybe that was my fault for not digging the boxes out of the bag and checking them before I paid… I watched her drop orange chicken in the colored sauce, fish it out and then eat it while I was at the counter. I have NEVER had a bad exchange with another employee there regardless of how busy they were at the moment or any language barrier. That is how rude this lady is. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS go here when you’re driving through Moses Lake or just need some quick fresh Chinese food! It’s been my most favorite establishment for YEARS, and now that I live 2.5 hours away, I make sure my husband stops here to grab me a plate and head home with it! A lot of options, freshly made, and great customer service! Next to Starbucks on I-90, it doesn’t have the best parking, but that’s okay. The food and service outweigh the parking chaos.
