Archway RV Park Park is a nice place to stay in Southern Illinois, just one hour East of St. Louis, Missouri. Archway offers full hookup 50 amp pull through and back in sites (not sure if these are 30 or 50 amp), some with trees and some without. Many of the pull throughs are buddy sites. They also have a laundry facility with three washers and three dryers, each at a cost of $2.00 per load. Washers run about 30 minutes and dryers about 45 minutes per cycle. There is a nice seating area in the same facility, which also houses the park office, two bathrooms with showers, a kitchen, and a large meeting room. Other amenities include a catch-and-release fishing pond, propane refill, a playground for the kids, a dog park, a large pavilion, a community firepit, one trash dumpster near the office, rental cabins, and rental pods. There are many stores and restaurants close to the park. Some road noise but not bad during hours of sleep. Plus, Ralph and Tiffany are very accommodating and helpful...they spend much of their time at the park and work hard to keep the place running smoothly.

Fantastic clean park at a bargain rate! We had to hang out in the IL area for a little over a week between gigs. Had a spot on the Navy base up in North Chicago only to find out it's a terrible park. I did some research on the internet and came across Archway RV Park for only $200/week..... no way that is for full hook ups / 50amp? Yep.... ok... we head to Archway not expecting much... well, it's a great park and one heck of a bargain at $200 for the week. Full hook ups w/50amp! Clean grounds, pleasant staff, and quiet. It's very convenient to the interstate, and lots of places to eat / shop within a mile (Walmart, Tractor Supply, Lowes, Chilis, a nice japanese rest etc etc etc). It seems to be a favorite stop for folks that need a clean quiet place to park, plug in, and get some rest before they hit the road again. Lots of really nice coaches / buses coming in for one night! Nightly rate is $40 with Good Sam discount. If you just need a clean, quiet place to park Archway RV Park is for you!

Very nice park. Awesome staff..Ralph, Tiffany & Will. It’s Labor Day weekend… most RV Parks are sold out. Originally, only staying 4 nights… then we had a family emergency come up and we needed to drive back to Arkansas (6-7 hrs away). We explained our situation and asked to extend our stay and without batting an eye… they said. “Of course” !! They were sooooo accommodating on such a busy weekend. We are very thankful. Spots are gravel and easy to maneuver our 43 ft Class A. (#26). Reasonably priced, Grounds are clean, if you need it, there’s a large ice machine at entrance to park. Close to major fuel stations, restaurants & Walmart. Found a GREAT BBQ place in town called The Frosted Mug. Check it out too!!! Would definitely recommend staying if passing through.

The following was our experience at this park:||While setting up on our lot I noticed that the park layout was such that your door opens up facing your neighbors door and you actually share about a 4 foot wide strip of grass between trailers, absolutely no privacy if you wanted to sit outside! We could not even open our awning as it would have hit the awning next to us!|Tiffany (the manager/owner)? happened to come by at that time and asked if everything was ok. I asked if there were any sites where the doors didn’t face each other. She got totally belligerent and asked if there was a problem with our neighbors. I said of course not, I just didn’t want to be eyeball to eyeball with them. She said “what do you expect for $45?”!!! And also said this was not uncommon @ proceeded to try and lecture me on how commonplace this was!|We have been rving for over 25 years through at least 30 states and this is the first time I have ever encountered this situation! And the fact that I didn’t go to Tiffany with a complaint, she actually stopped and made the inquiry and then got very nasty when I raised the question.|Apparently Tiffany is very personable as long as you don’t ask a question of her! A simple “all of our sites face each other” would have sufficed, but she chose to make it into a confrontational issue!|This is a marginal park at best, I can’t imagine how it has a Good Sams designation, if for no other reason than the bizarre layout of the sites! I would never stay here again (or at any park where you actually share your neighbor’s only area for a minimum degree of privacy!) |Our neighbors were lovely people but I’m sure they were not comfortable with being right on top of their neighbors either! In addition, these sites are VERY close together!|Do yourself a favor and...

Me and my husband arrived and needed a place for the night with our RV (45 footer) that is quite large, we asked the receptionist if there was any vacant sites and she stated no, so we went to leave and a lady came up to us who identified her self as the owners daughter and asked what we needed , electricity , sewage ect and she said she is gonna find us a site so we can stay the night and told us not to worry! we said electricity at least for A/C as it was hot out , she came back with a golf cart and my hubby hopped on and she took him to show him the site . They came back we hopped in our truck and followed her with our RV in tow! She found us a double site due to the size of our rig and so we could be on an angle and it would be easier for us to leave in the morning . She was very helpful and polite, all the staff were amazing and so very accommodating and welcoming! This was our first trip to the states on our RV and the first park we stayed at, thank you Archway and staff/ Owners for setting some amazing and high standards for the other parks to match that we will be staying at! They have some pretty big shoes to fill !! Again thank you! You guys were awesome and I will definitely stay here again and would 100% recommend your...
