The food is great love their slushes and drinks they have them half price if you order through app or website it's kind of hard to get the half price discount at this location mobile ordering through the app or website for the location in Mount Vernon Illinois will not work (family members and friends all are having saving issue) choose what you want go to checkout and pay it comes up saying sorry technical issues try again later no matter how much later it still doesn't work been this way for months and months with no end insight at this location so tired of having to pay full price for drinks and slushies at this local location and it is not that my app needs updated or my phone or connection because I can turn around and drive straight to the next town and hit order and guess what it goes right through it works in Benton Carbondale Marion Centralia but not in Mount Vernon and when you mention this to them they reply with we have been told by others they are having same or similar issues or either u get the blank stare and no response followed by is there anything else I can help you with today 😉 what do you mean anything else you can help me with today you didn't help me with anything yet today the app still doesn't work here and you didn't even acknowledge that or give me an explanation or try to find out what the issue is with the Order ahead through online for this location it's ridiculous I am no longer going to be using my local location if I decide I want slush or drink I'll just have to wait until I'm in one of the other towns mentioned above I will no longer be making a special trip...
Read moreThe car hop has the best personality of any fast food worker in town. I don't know her name but she is incredibly kind and always cheerful. The food however always lacks a little during the 10-11 am time frame. That is when I take lunch. The fries are always cold or if they are warm they are rock hard. Like they re fried them to warm and prevent waste. I only visit maybe once a month and it always seems to be the case. Today my hamburger literally had 4 shreds of lettuce. They have small chopped lettuce so it was a little funny they even tried to put any on at all. I appreciate at all times the services of anyone preparing a meal for me because I rarely get to indulge in the meal that I have not prepared myself. They put up the price on the screen. I told my lady friend it must be happy Hr. It was way cheaper than I was expecting. She said you better call them back and check. Seems they had only got one combo. Said the two way sistema was not working well the girl came to the car to get the order this time.
