Ozark Junction Mountain View by OYO — Hotel in Mountain View

There were BED BUGS in room 169. There were no lights at all in the bathroom, just empty sockets. Me and my wife and infant son received this room because it was the only non-smoking room available, according to the man on the phone from a remote call center (which is who I got through to with the only number listed online for the hotel). The room was right by the road in front of the hotel with the incessant sound of loud trucks, semis, and honking horns speeding through the intersection just feet beyond the door. The parking lot in front was so rough it could pop a tire. There must’ve been mold in the room, because my throat was hurting the next morning. No soap in the bathroom, just 2 rags, one of them dirty. The sheets irritated our skin. They automatically placed us in this room but should have put the room out of order for the myriad of problems in it but we were placed there anyway. I regret thinking it would be a good idea to stay here (was trying to stay cheap) and I also regret giving this trashy room the benefit of the doubt and not going straight to the front to demand a different room. They don’t approve refunds on-site, so I’m going to have to go up the corporate chain with these issues but I would never recommend this motel to...

This motel is just yuck! I actually cannot believe that Wyndham would keep this as a property. |Got to the hotel, had to wait 5 min for anyone to even come to the office. Once they arrived they were on their cellphone the entirety of the check in process which consisted of the printer not working and them talking about how they wanted to burn the place down. Opened the door and was hit by a wall of cigarette smell. It was so bad! The room is so outdated and was dirty. There were literally cup crumbs in one bed (the one that actually had a blanket) the other bed had a blanket with multiple cigarette burns in it. The bathroom has a popcorn ceiling that is falling down. There are too many stains on the sink and counter to count. There is coffee stuff but no coffee maker! The remote did not work to the tv and the fridge did not work. There was no continental breakfast as advertised. We wanted to run for the hills on this one and unfortunately with it being a holiday, it was the only thing that had open rooms, now I know why! |Please save your money and find somewhere...

(Badly)Patched wallpaper and ceilings, mold around tub, hairball in tub drain so it wouldn't drain ( I had to remove it), no tub grab bar, no electrical outlets in room to recharge phone, door lock inoperative, carpet needs to be vacuumed, nasty brown spot on towel, bath vanity tiny (no place to put essentials), no tv channel guide, poor picture quality on tv, no phone in room to call front desk, no clock, AC compressor shut off with a loud "clunk" throughout the night, breakfast consisted of choice between frosted flakes, ONE piece of bread, or ONE english muffin, WIFI didn't work. First and last time to stay...
