Where do I start... I made the mistake of paying for a week in advance at this establishment immediately after being released from the hospital and undergoing an emergency stomach surgery. Pretty extensive incision in size (chest plate all the way down to my growing ) pretty rough and extensive surgery/ recovery. I slept my first day completely away. The second I was noticing I was struggling to do activities shower. Getting and out of bed etc etc. so my mobile nurse/caretaker decided possible. Smart and helpful idea right?.. wrong if the idea is at Jackson hotel in Murfreesboro . They kept pushing me off for an answer for two more days til finally the owner graced me with his, "smug he owns me and I need him attitude instead of the old fashioned the customer is right motto thanks for you're business respect behavior . And proceeded to tell me that set the handicap rooms are not weekly rentals. The are daily rate prices. Okay you don't want to come off the difference will be I will pay it I do not care but instead of getting that option can you continue to over speak me accuse me of things that I was not doing implicit in seriously about 10 policies that was in no paper work we signed when paying whatsoever so we was unaware to any of them. ( They admitted to ) And proceeded to tell me that I have already ran up enough charges that it took all my weeks worth of the room I payed in advanced for . No discussion. No refund. It is now midnight at this point he decides to call to local crooked Police department on me. Who showed up to tell me but I had to get all my personal belongings out at midnight raining with no car I can get off the property get it out 20 Staples in my stomach, ungodly pain, with no car on foot raining freezing in April. . police said that it is a civil matter I have to take him to court. So he's now using the local police department to continue his business and engaging commerce and using the police force to legally rob people. It's illegal and it's called Abuse of civil service. The police department told me that they had already been to that hotel in particular two more times that day alone before me doing the same exact thing to two other people that day alone. After this I stayed outside in the freezing cold in my condition until about 6:00 p.m. the next day until my money finally hit so I could get another room somewhere else. This place is privately owned they make it up as they go. This is discrimination at its finest and my attorney's (plural) have already began filling motions for a sleep of suites. DO NOT STAY HERE PEOPLE. ! I ASKED FOR A HANDICAP ROOM THAT WAS VERY WELL DESERVED THEIR ANSWER TO ME GET OUT CALLING THE POLICE ON YOU AND ROBBING YOU. HOPEFULLY I SAVE SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE THEY FOLLOW MY MISTAKE...
Read moreAs I sit in an actual room at the Jackson Hotel, I write this review... I stayed the night here and really would not recommend it. By far the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. There was condoms in the corner of the room, near the window, as if it hadn't been cleaned from the previous stayers. I opened the bottom drawer to put my clothes in it and I found somebody's basketball shorts had been left there. Not only was my room missing a television remote, the television didn't even work. I had to manually walk up to it and fidget with it for 20 minutes and still couldn't find anything but static. The chain lock had broken off the door, so there was no lock on my door other than the handle one. I can deal with the black stained chairs but what bothered me was that the arm on the chairs would easily come out of place. Several times I found myself ''building a chair.'' This was all in room 133. Overall, I think the price should be WAY lower. I paid $57.33 for one night... when for 5 bucks more you can stay at a Motel 6. What is with motel's in Murfressboro all charging $50 a night for a room? Stingy. Charge what it's...
Read moreI chose the property because it was rated a 2 Star Hotel by Priceline and it was late at night and I couldn't drive any more. It was by and far the worst lodging I have ever experienced. Here is a list of the unexpected amenities I received at the Jackson Motel: Broken toilet seat, stained box spring/mattress, stale smoke scent, cigarette burned furniture, overflowing garbage cans in common area, abandoned car in parking lot, co mingling with transient residents. I arrived in my room at 12 midnight and fearing for my health, made a hasty departure at 3 am. I contacted Booking.com (Priceline partner) immediately about my displeasure and the 2 Star misrepresentation I was victimized by and they could do nothing for me. The owner of the MOtel stated that since I used the room there was no refund. I am in the process of disputing my credit card payment to them based on what I consider misrepresentation on the part of the owner and Priceline. I paid $70, the property was 1 star and worth no more than $30. The health department should shut this crap hole down and throw the owner in...
