Old Fort Park Skate Park & Pump Track — Attraction in Murfreesboro

Great place for people of all ages, the kids do tend to ignore the pump track direction and usually mess up the skaters. No lights at night with no plans to add em in the future (yall really need to add lights since it gets darker earlier in the fall). Have had a few incidents there where some people were extremely unpleasant. Just use yalls brains and stop with the vandalism. But for the most part people there are pretty chill. This pump track is a lot of fun! You keep pumping faster and faster around the loop. My son got a new mountain bike, and he had so much fun trying to catch some air. I also noticed that the skate park brings so many people together. Some smaller kids there were just learning to skate, while more experienced skaters were there and able to share their experiences when they were learning to skate. We love this skatepark. I wish it was twice the size as it is ALWAYS busy. There are so many people enjoying biking, skating, scootering and roller skating. There is such a need and so many are enjoying this space. I do hope they add a pavilion and bathrooms, but there are some within walking distance at the kids castle park. They truly did a great job and people have said that this one is better/ nicer than the one...
