Overall: Nothing terrible, but we wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again. Pros: - Good quality, large bedroom TV - Excellent WiFi with no connectivity issues - Plenty of counter space in the room - Mini-fridge kept food and drinks properly chilled - The front desk lady on Sunday morning was fantastic!! She helped us with our car when the battery died, and was very friendly and sweet in general Cons: -Cheapest item in the hospitality store was a $3 can of soda -No ice machines on 3rd floor -Smoke detector flashes a bright white light DIRECTLY at the bed, every 33 seconds (yes we counted) -Microwave had mechanical error -Several problems with the room's bathroom (see below) -Were not prepared AT ALL for the busy holiday weekend, despite prior knowledge (see below) We were immediately unimpressed when we checked in late on Friday evening of Labor Day Weekend. The hotel had only one employee working that night, despite the flood of visitors for the annual Cherokee Nation holiday, a Blues Festival, and several family reunions. Despite knowing all these events would be happening in town that weekend, they still chose to have ONE employee on front desk for the busiest check-in time. I felt so bad for the poor guy! He did a great job (at one point he was running around with a power drill trying to fix something while also answering the phone and checking people in) and his management team totally failed him. Additionally, the building's A/C struggled to cool the space, with condensation dripping from vents in the lobby and our room never quite reaching a nice temperature. As for the rooms, the bathroom tries to have an ultra-modern style, which sacrifices comfort and functionality. There is no bathtub, just a shower with sliding glass doors. Our glass doors were not level, which meant they slowly slid open like a ghost was trying to join us in our showers. The door to the bathroom itself would not close properly or latch because it didn't fit in the doorframe right. The toilet, weirdly, was this thin plastic and felt cheap - I've never encountered a "cheap plasticy" toilet before but that's the only way I can think to describe it. There's no fan in the bathroom, which probably contributed to the pinkish yellow mildew built up in the corners of our shower (see photos). In short, the entire space just feels cheap, and this is not one of the lowest-priced hotels in the area.

What a total disappointment. Even though the place was quite clean at first appearance, there were issues throughout my stay. I found that my room had been so cheaply repainted that the beds weren't even moved (you'll see this in the pictures). The shower head was in such bad condition that it barely worked (if I can post the video I will). In all my years of using hotels and motels, I've never had to fill the toilet tank manually to help it fill until now. The internal workings of the toilet were completely worn out. The air circulation vent in the bathroom is dust filled and not working. I went to the swimming pool to find the water was green and cloudy even though I could smell chlorine. I wasn't able to take a picture of it but I was able to get a picture of the black mold forming on the ceiling and roaches crawling on the interior wall. It's sad when the only good thing that I can say about the place is that the pillows were soft, even though the two provided on the bed were small. The shelf/counter for the mini fridge and coffee pot needs to be replaced due to scratches and wear. The television that was in my room was smaller and outdated for this day and time. I went to call down to the front desk only to find the phone cord was disconnected and I had to move the furnishings just to locate the cord so I could make my call. Unfortunately, the call was never answered. When I met with the desk clerk I was informed that the cordless phone she is required to use doesn't have enough range to receive calls if she gets very far from the base. The biscuit and gravy breakfast was poor quality as well. The biscuit was hard and the gravy was loose and had a poor flavor. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel Fairbridge Inn and Suites in Muskogee Oklahoma on 09/01/2018. This is the refrigerator in the 3rd room we were moved to, it was full of mold and mildew. The 1st room smelled disgusting, the 2nd room the bathroom had not even been cleaned, it still had the open bars of soap and the wrappers on the bathroom sink and in the shower. The phones and the lamp in the room also did not work. We addressed this with the front desk clerk and she said she would pass the information onto management even though she did not write down our name or phone number or anything that we were telling her about the room. This situation has never been addressed personally with us. We are putting one star only because it is making us!!!

I don't even know where to start with this review. Let me say that in the last 12 years I have stayed in over 200 hotels and have NEVER experienced anything like this. At the Comfort Inn in Muskogee you have to watch out for:|1: Extremely Rude employees.|2: Fraudulent/Unauthorized charges made to your credit card.(and no I am not talking |about a security deposit.)|3: Potential Identity theft.|3: Filth and Hairs on floor.|4: Broken equipment in room.|5: And more||It stated at check in when I provided my ID and the woman checking me in immediately starting scanning a copy of my ID which I don't consent to. When I told her that I din't want it copied she told me that I "could go elsewhere if I didn't like it." (Saying this seems to be standard training for the employees here as you will hear this again.) I told her not to scan it and she did it anyway and then lied and told me that all Choice hotels are now doing this so they can track people who was been kicked out of Choice hotels across the country. Isn't that nice, you have to risk having your ID being stolen so they can track their bad customers? I stayed in 7 other Choice hotels on this tip and NOT ONE scanned my ID or attempted to. ||I got to the room and discovered that the there were hairs on the floor in the bathroom, a big stain on the floor that should have been wiped up (It did wipe up with water) the toilet seat was loose and felt like it was going to fall off, the knobs on the inside of the refrigerator were broken off and it didn't get anything cold, the clock next to the bed was unplugged and when I plugged it in it couldn't be set and didn't work properly.||After a couple hours in the room I checked my credit card and noticed the charge for the hotel room and a second charge of $2.99 from the hotel. I called the hotel desk and spoke to a female (who was later identified to me by another desk worker as Angela) about this added charge. I was told it was a "Hotel Service Fee". Note that this "Hotel Service Fee" does not show up in the amount of your reservation nor anywhere in the information you acknowledge when you check in. I told her to get that charge off of my credit card now and I was not happy. She told me that (HERE WE GO AGAIN...) that if I didn't like it I could leave. I told her that she should get a job where customers are not ripped off and she said "You need to quit being an old hag.". Yup those were her exact words. Once again they tell you to leave if you question something (of course by this point and when I checked in I would have been charged anyway if I left due to time restraints on cancelling the reservation). I hung up after she started calling me names. ||I only stayed here due to a promotion that Choice was running otherwise I would have been at the Best Western next door where I am the highest level of their Rewards Program. Check out their reviews(which are better than here) and prices and then decide where to stay. And you also won't be called names and told to leave if you don't like it.|| I am sure the owner/manager will be along to leave a response. Don't believe it if they dispute anything I said. Everything I posted in this review is the truth. Instead of making excuses when they post maybe they should just try to fix the issues, (especially the employee issues) and try harder. Oh and it would have help to only scan IDs of those that consent and quit ripping people off with unauthorized...

I booked a room for june 23 2018 on june 19, 2018. I was advised that is was a nonrefundable prepay price of 51.51 after taxes. Received confirmation. . I booked a double room for up to 4 adults with 2 double beds. Upon arrivind after being told checkin was a 2 pm, then 230pm then finally 3pm. We tried to check in to only be told that although they had my reservation. But , They had no room for me. That priceline shouldnt have confirmed my reservation. After discussing the fact that all other hotels were booked and we had to have a room they offered a single bed room with a roll away which would still not sleep 4. After agreeing that we had a gaurenteed reservation, the offered a king suite with pull out couch. We were tired and agreed to take it. After getting to the room we found that the door lock did not function properly. After trying for 20 minutes and trying all 4 card keys one worked one time. We tried wifi and i as qell as my party would get logged on only to be kicked right back off. Apparebtly many in the hotel were havibg this issue. The fold out couch appeared to be a hybrid if a couch and blow up. I have had 3 back surgeries and could not sleep on something so thin and uncomfortable with knots under it. We finall had to request 2 roll away beds to even get any rest. The entire suite smelled like smoke and we reported that and we were brought a can of air freshener. We decided to go to the pool and the key card wouldnt work there either but another guest let us in. The indoor pool was so cold we couldnt get in the water but the spa was hot. Go out and went to the towel valet cart to find 0 towels. Other guess said they had to usee towels from the room. Which was only 2 towels. So 2 had no towels and 4 people. We went to the front desk and waited for someone ro arrive and told them we needed towels. She proceeded to go get up a mop to get the drips off the floor before getting our towels. Both ice machibes were out of order and the elevator had broke for a period of time too. I was on 3rd floor asnd im disabled. Another guest who checked in before me was back to the desk saying someone was already in her room. Tv was not working but we had to figure it out. The bathroom had one tiny bar of soap and a tiny shampoo. We were without clean towels other that the ones we used at the pool. As when requested towels for 4 she only brought 2 more which left us with no towels for bathing. Room was adequately clean beside the smoke smell. Now for the saving grace, Cassandra. She did everythibg in her power to ensure the problems were fixed to the best of her ability. And she did so with a smile. Sge is the only high point of our stay. We ask about the ice machines the next norning. Cassandra took the time to help us with ice that were in the kitchen area. Agaun i cant not speak highly enough for cassandra. Our door lock only worked sporatically. The breakfast was nice but not enough to override the bad. Ovwrall id give it zero stars if possible. But CASSANDRA was a blessing and asset to her job. I had to literlly stand there for 25 minutes tryibto covibce them we needed AZ room with 2 normal beds to no avail. Ultimately we were finally offered a suite which had been unreserved all along. But, had i not disputed, we would have been left with no room. I will never stay there again and im afraid to book another hotel i need for next month after these issues. That you...

We checked in on 7/20/12 and paid cash instead of charging our credit card. The next day we learned that they had charged our credit card for the 2 nights as well. We were lied to from checking in to checking out. In all fairness I think lady that checked us in was either new or just was not sure of what she was doing. However, from the moment we brought their mistake to their attention, we started being lied to and getting the run around. First we were told that they would just refund our cash payment since the card had been charged but we would have to wait on the manager to come in the next morning. The next morning we learned that the manager was not coming in and that we would have to wait until Jyll came in at 7 and she could call the manager to ok the refund. Jyll came in and told us that what they had done was standard procedure and that our card was not charged it was just a hold. This was obviously a lie, because out of the 20 families that checked in with me, several paid cash and their cards were not charged. We were there for a family reunion, so it was not hard for me to find out if this really was standard procedure. I repeatedly tried to explain to her that the card HAD been charged and she argued no it hadn't. I was then told that it was nothing she could do about. What she didn't know was that two other front desk employees had already told us that they would just refund our cash. When I inquired about the refund, I was told that they could not do it if they wanted to because they didn't have enough money in the drawer to do a refund of that amount. Jyll continued to scold us about paying with cash and how they are the only hotel that will take a cash payment instead of credit card. After 45 minutes of nonsense, Jyll says well I can try to RUN the card again. Then she reaches in the drawer which they claimed they didn't have enough cash in and finally refunds our money.

Jyll was overheard talking about me at least 3 times after giving us the refund, once by my daughters, once by another family member who was sitting in lobby eating breakfast and once my myself. I overheard her on the phone, saying I just went ahead and gave her the refund because she would not take no for an answer. Jyll was very rude and unprofessional to say the least.

Additionally, we were in the king suite with fold out sofa. Upon arrival the room was clean. However, the mini fridge was not working and maintance had to be called. Each day, housekeeping brought fresh towels and made the bed, but they did NOT empty the trash once during our stay nor was our tolietries refeshed each day. We actually had to go downstairs to request tissue our first morning there.

I am not one who normally would even take the time to write a review, but this was very unprofessional and stressful and we were not able to enjoy ourselves like we expected. Everyone in our group felt that we were treated shady. La Quinta of Muskogee will not be used for any other family reunion activities in the...
