Oasis Suites Hotel — Hotel in Nags Head

Highly recommend! The stay was lovely and comfortable. My kids love staying in hotels and this one surely didn't disappoint. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite on the 3rd floor. The room had a balcony with an incredible waterfront view (see pics). The fully stocked kitchen (with an electric stove and a microwave) was super convenient for me to cook meals for my family. The room was also well stocked with bath amenities and even had a broom so we were able to make do without housekeeping's help for the entire duration of our stay which worked out well during the pandemic. The hotel is close to the beaches and also a Fresh Market store (which has curbside pickup via Instacart). I spoke to the staff couple of times before checking in about the possibility of extending our stay and even though the rooms were completely booked, they were courteous each time and offered to put us on a waiting list. I also had the opportunity to talk to the housekeeping staff after checkout who were so friendly and kind. We've visited Oasis four times in the past, always staying in the same soundside room. This year, due to my own mistake, we were unable to book our normal room and were referred to a comparable room on the road side. When we arrived at our room, we were surprised to find that we liked the layout even more than we did with our customary room! ||The room was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay so much that we asked if we could add two more nights onto our visit. The staff (they really start to feel more like family than staff) was very accommodating, and we were able to keep our room for one additional night, and then move to another room for the last night. When we got to our new room on the last day, we were amazed - we liked it even more than the previous one! The views were panoramic, and we could see the sounds on both sides of the road. Although traffic on the road is loud when you're outside, when you're in the room you can barely hear it - it never bothered us a bit. ||We've already booked next summer for our sixth year in a row, and are trying hard to make another visit work for this...

We really enjoyed our stay here! I wish it was for more than 1 night. My husband and I stayed here before checking into a condo for the week. Everyone we met on the staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was definitely like "we're staying with friends." I just happened to mention to Beverly when booking the room that we were celebrating our anniversary that week and that our anniversary was going to be the night we stayed there. When we checked in there was a nice surprise in the bedroom (flowers and candles on the bed and candles around the tub in the bathroom)! I wasn't expecting anything so that was very nice of them. The location was great very centrally located. It wasn't bad traffic when coming and going from the hotel.

I'm late writing my review because our stay was in May and it's September as I'm typing this, but I wanted to make sure to share our experience with Oasis Suites. I could here the road noise in our room when in the bedroom but not the other parts of the condo. We were in Suite 301 and it faced the sound with great views.
