They probably knew this review was coming. I could tell from the way I kept being apologized to me while trying to leave once realizing how upset I was. Went yesterday to get one of their Belgian waffles - first off it’s hard to find places that make them fresh and it was on their menu. We get there and there is only 1 guy working the whole store, we were patient and understanding we had to wait about 15 minutes before being helped. I’ve been told good things are worth waiting for, but nothing good came from this. when it was our turn and I went to order, I was given a big huff and puff and told all these excuses why I couldn’t have one. “I have to turn the machine on and wait for it.” “There’s a lot of people behind you.” “I just don’t have time to do that can’t you get something else?” So I settled for basic vanilla in a waffle cone, which ended up being a mess. I asked for 1 scoop, and to make up for the excuses I was given more ice cream than I asked for which I did not want. We were visiting and that was our last day there. I was told I could come by later when he had help but it was only him, but we had a 5 hour drive home. I understand being short staffed, I work in a place I have to do 2-3 people’s jobs because we are also short staffed. But I do not give excuses why I can’t do something. Also it is not very difficult to just take the plastic sign that was sitting on top of the ice cream as part of the menu - take it off display until you...
Read moreEXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY and the workers were somehow incompetent at serving icecream. The second we got in there, the owner yells at us to close the door. Then he tells us to hurry because there was a small line outside. We had barely been able to even read the flavors. So we all quickly chose our flavor but his workers kept scooping the wrong flavors and using the wrong cones somehow. They must not half flavor labels on their side for some reason. The owner told us “point to the flavor you want because they’re new”(referring to his workers) and then when we point they still scoop the wrong one. Not sure how you get mint chip confused with Cookie Monster, mint chip literally always looks the same. One person asked for gummies in their icecream and they were given a single gummy. The ice-cream also melted like instantly and was too sweet. He barely filled the cake cone too, I ate the top half of the cone and the bottom half was empty. $15 for an icecream sandwich and half filled cake cone. Not sure how you have employees so incompetent they can’t scoop the correct ice cream flavor and then get mad at your customers. Like we’re literally giving you...
