This place is AMAZING!! These are the best cookies I have ever had. They are all so fresh and tasty, made to perfection:) The pumpkin cookie with cream cheese frosting is my favorite! I was going in one last time before the airport and was bummed the pumpkin cookie was sold out. The owners pulled the cookies out early from cooling and iced them for me right there so I was able to get one! They are so down to earth and passionate about making these cookies taste so yummy. Everyone needs to try Cookie Shack!

Hard pass on Crumbl Cookie. THIS is the best cookie spot on the OBX! We were able to talk to Larry and Dawn and they were sooo nice and friendly! We of course had to get the Cookie Monster cookie but also tried their other selections as well and my gosh… The cookies were perfectly soft and mouthwateringly delicious. We had such a great experience we will be coming back every year for tradition! Tip: if you get the Cookie Monster you’re technically getting 2 cookies for the price of one lol ; )

I didn't have time to take a picture of the beautifuly presented cookies that were bestowed upon my eyes besides the remainder of the snickerdoodle. The customer service was great as well as the taste of the spectacular cookies I purchased. They have perfected the arts of cookies for example something as simple as snickerdoodle was perfect and something as abstract as cotton candy was delectable. 10/10 would buy again!!!

Happy one year anniversary to this hidden gem of the OBX! We stopped in last year on a whim, just a few weeks after they opened and WOWEE were we ever pleasantly surprised! The cookies? Delicious. The owners? Delightful. We were so happy to find them in the same location this year and happily chatted with the owners again about their bakery's growth over the last year.

Although we didn't have time for homemade soft serve (also made into ice cream cookie sandwiches) or fudge, we picked up an assorted dozen of everything they made and practically skipped home. Our 5yo was wiggling in the backseat just itching for the cookie monster cookie that awaited her. Clearly made with love, this is one collection of cookies you don't...
