Travel Inn — Hotel in North Kingstown

If I could give negative 10 stars that still would not be enough. We reserved two nights through hotel.com. We did not know the area. Looked like a good place to stay. When we arrived. They obviously rent out rooms to people that can’t afford housing. Not a big deal but yeah a big deal. When we arrived we had to call a number listed on the door. The man finally came and we went into the office.(I guess that’s what you would call it) there was clearly a gallon of someone’s pee sitting there. It was just gross and disgusting. We tried to look past everything. Maybe it won’t be that bad. Let’s just go to the room. The man finally found our room key. Which was a house key he got from a baggie. We went in and not to our surprise it was gross. Seen bedbug activity on the boxspring. Opened the bathroom door and smelled like sewage. I have stayed at some pretty cheap hotels but never have I had this kind of experience! We definitely did not stay there we left two minutes after entering. We canceled and lost money for one of the nights. The owner did not even have the decency to talk to the man from hotels.com. So that we could get a refund. All I have to say is this place is Disgusting and needs to be condemned. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. DO NOT STAY HERE! You will...

When this place went under new management, they clearly used friends and family to build reviews. The location is convenient, not for tourism but for small stores, gas stations, etc. Do not be swayed by the false reviews of "country scenery" or anything.. this is a dingy roadside motel, mostly used as transitional living.. the smoking laws are not adhered to and guests/tenants are lined along the building smoking and drinking constantly. Cops have been on site numerous times. There are new TV's, but all other appliances are extremely outdated. There were issues with multiple appliances - microwave, ac, remotes - that are only "resolved" with swapping from another room for a temporary fix. Many rooms have issues with plumbing as well. This is not a location any family with children should consider. The prices here are not much, if any lower than other area motels.. however there are absolutely no amenities here. this is mostly filled with people in between housing, so not a place to stay with a family. my family and i were here for two weeks while waiting for housing. we became suspicious that someone was coming into our room during the day, as our Roku had charges on it from people order g stuff and our dog was acting strange. we put a go-pro on the dog and sure enough during the day someone was coming in and using our tv!!!! i confronted owner and they claimed that was not possible( even though i had video footage) on top of this they charged us $200 a night to have people in our room during the day. we were stuck because we had already paid and had to wait for housing. besides entering our room, this place was NOT worth $200 daily. there was dirt on the floors and it wasn’t cleaned when we first came in and i had to do a full cleaning. the place is disgusting. our neigbors also fought very loudly every night and it scared my...
