This is the second time I've been to this store where I was looking through the merchandise and ready to make a purchase and the manager walked over to me told me I had to leave because the store was closing. Then he told me that they wanted to go home. The time was exactly 5:25 p.m. on a Tuesday evening, October 8th. 10 minutes before that one of his workers told me that they were open until 6 p.m. and to take my time however that they start to get people out of the store around 5:30 so that they can cash the register out and go home by 6. Store hours posted on their website say that they are open until 7 p.m. . Don't waste your time going there. Of all the second hand stores I go to, this store's prices are way too high. The worker's are extremely rude and they don't keep the store open the hours that are posted as open. Because this is the second time I've been there where they lock the doors early then they kept all the lights on inside and wasted my time again I will not go back to this store.
Salvation Army Statewide and Regional management please take note of the above. Fire the manager he is...
Read moreJust a used clothes store now! Not a true trift store anymore. The old store was WAY better! I was there today and they had very little items to be thrifted, barely any shelves left, basically no items, no furniture.. no couch, no dressers, etc.. I will add pictures when I can (should have, forgot!) They are supposed to help the surrounding communities and I'm not sure how they intend on doing it now. Who made the decision to basically sell nothing but used clothes and a few other items as an after thought??? Well, we don't know, but what a let down for us, the customers, including myself👎 Before the "renovations" we were able to buy affordable items, but no more now, shame on you Salvation Army. Your store was a staple in the community and now...
Read moreMost well organized thrift store I’ve ever been to. And it wasn’t a fluke, I’ve now gone in every 3-4 weeks for a year, and it’s always like this. It’s clear staff takes great pride in their store. I’m talking kitchen/household items sorted by color and theme, kids toys by type/age, shelves & shelves of books for all ages grouped together with care. I bought a fun collection of 6-7 snow globes for Christmas decorations & kid fun, both fancy antiques and a few plastic ones. This store is so impressive I have even bought multiple stuffed animals from there, which I would usually avoid getting at thrift. Everyone is kind and helpful, and everyone from all walks of life clearly feels welcome....
