Not good. No combo plates. I ordered lemon chicken. Bf ordered lettuce wrappers plate and we got rice to share. Boyfriends food and the rice came. We waited and waited for mine. Finally someone came over and asked if it was ok. We said we are still waiting for my food. He said lemon chicken takes a long time. My bf said we want to eat together. They just looked at us like we were crazy. Bf said take this away and keep it warm! They just kept saying lemon chicken takes a long time over and over again!!! Like robots. It was surreal! They acted like we are idiots for not understanding that! First of all, you always serve everyone together. This is not a new concept in dining establishments. Secondly, nobody said lemon chicken takes a long time when we ordered! What are you doing, growing lemons back there? It's a breaded chicken cutlet with sauce on it! What takes so damn long!? After all that, the food sucked anyway. Rice was so salty, it was inedible. They probably poured the whole shaker in when we demanded they keep it warm. The lemon chicken was bland. First time there and will...
Read moreWe hadn't been to Seven Moons in a couple of years, but were in the mood for a change and a little drive. I ordered the lemongrass shrimp lunch, which comes with white rice and two chicken wings, as well as wonton soup for an extra dollar. Miso and hot and sour soup are no upcharge. Service was good enough to get the job done, but that's it. The wonton soup was average. Hard to describe, but not full of flavor like the better broths. The wontons were flavorless, but at least they were not to thick and heavy. Chicken wings are pretty much chicken wings, done in a slightly asian way. The lemongrass shrimp were medium sized in a rather bland sauce and vegetable mix, heavy on red and green peppers. So all in all the three stars. I'm sure there are good items on the menu, it's extensive. We prefer their spin-off Red Rice near the Warwick Mall. Same menu, done better with nice decor, friendly waitstaff, and fresher tasting food. And no dollar upcharge for the...
Read moreThis is one of the more depressing reviews I have written on google. 7 Moons is my GO TO for Asian food. It’s hands down the best Asian food in RI IMO. Well..it was. We came here today for the first time in a while and I get the same thing every time. Order of boneless spare ribs, General Taos chicken and an order of Pork Fried Rice. So I know how it’s always tastes cause I have been coming here for years and years. It’s totally different. The spare ribs were sooooo chewy and felt over cooked with a burnt taste. I don’t mind the burnt taste it tastes grilled almost but not with it so chewy. The fried rice is dark and harder vs how it was 2 months ago. The chicken isn’t as good either. Everything was really chewy and over cooked. Not very over cooked but over cooked. My review before wAs 5 stars I’d refer everyone who asked to here for best Asian food hands down but it’s not the same. And...
