Master Homemade Donuts — Restaurant in North Kingstown

I literally just bought a dozen donuts from there for the first time this morning and then I got a glaze to eat separately because I’ve never had them before. And I didn’t like it. The donut was soft and cloudy enough, but the glazed taste it like the grease. Almost like the grease used to fry the donuts have been used over and over. And whatever flavor was in the grease got into the glaze.

The only reason I bought donuts from here is because Allie’s’s is not open on Tuesdays and we had family in from out of state. I honestly don’t want to give them these donuts because I’ve been telling them how great Allie’s’s donuts are and these are not them.

AND the donuts were ice cold, so I doubt they were made fresh this morning

I picked them because of the reviews reading which is 4.7. So maybe the other are better. If so, I will come back in...

I used to love this place and previously had a good review. I stopped by this week and my opinion changed. They filled the shop with bible verses and we're playing gospel music. I don't mind what religion you are, but their beliefs felt forces upon me. I was uncomfortable. While waiting for my order I was sanding around and noticed dirty gloves on the floor,. The floor was sticky and the donut cases looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. Frankly, I had lost my appetite by the time I got my coffee. I hope they turn things around. I had previously rated Master Donuts 5 stars and would love to see my opinion be changed...

The owners were friendly enough (or managers, whoever they were). However, the young woman who helped me wasn't. The coffee she served me was barely warm. By the time I realized it, I was already driving away so I didn't turn around. My friends liked the donuts and the owners were customer service oriented so I am giving this place a 3 stars, but the staff really wasn't great. The coffee shop itself feels empty because they don't have enough tables and it's not furnished properly. I'd still say go check it out, but I really hope they will step it up because full price for a cold coffee was a bummer for a...
