Juniper Retreat — Local services in Oakhurst

We loved our stay at Juniper Retreat! We stayed in the smaller, upper unit and it was perfect for our family of three. The space is well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals at "home". Everything is immaculately clean. The internet is strong and there is an excellent selection of movies to watch in the evenings. Jupiter Retreat is about 20 minutes from Yosemite Valley. Close enough to get into the valley easily, but far enough away to escape the commotion of high season crowds. My family of four stayed here for Thanksgiving last year, which would make it my fourth or fifth time staying! I love this house. It has everything you'd need and is so cozy. The cork flooring is a really nice touch on those cold evenings. We enjoyed drinking cocoa every night while snuggled up on the couch watching Charlotte's Web. My girls just loved it! And the Valley is so close. The drive dropping into the Valley is one of my favorites, coming out of the tunnel and seeing the the drama of El Cap and even Bridalveil Fall to the right, never gets old.
