This place was ok to stay at. When we first walked in, the room appeared clean. However, within ten minutes of my toddler running around the room, his feet were very dirty from the floors. Please do a better job of washing the floors in between guests. We did enjoy the larger heated pool the next day even though the baby pool was very cold. They also should put curtains on the windows. It was so bright in the morning in the room and there was no way to make the room darker so we could sleep in.

Sink and tub drained extremely slow. Three to four flushed in order for toilet paper to go down. Cable wasn’t working. Wifi very spotty. Beds are as hard as rock. Pillows are covered in plastic, noisy and flat. No 24 hour maintenance staff. Refused to give extra pillows. Woman at front desk (manager) just didn’t seem to care.

Low budget, low thrills, GREAT STAFF. If you're looking for something to give you a place to sleep and plan on spending the rest of your time at the beach this is the place if you're looking for some place that's fancy this is not it. But the staff are more than accommodating. Make sure you bring a quarter for ice.

I would not recommend this motel to anyone, the price is not worth the hassle or for what you are getting at the motel. When a group of my friends and family arrived the woman at the receptionist desk was very disrespectful, I had family show up early to the hotel and ask to use the bathroom and the receptionist was taking a personal call and pointed to her AirPods and made my family wait until her phone call was done and then stated “what do you want”. Then the receptionist denied her because she was 10 minutes early before check in. When checking in the owner and the receptionist had a horrible attitude and we’re disrespectful. Their tone, customer service, and attitudes were terrible and rude. When informing us of the rules and procedures they had a rude tone and terrible attitude.

Even months before when booking when I sadly had to cancel 2 rooms due to COVID and health problems the owner YELLED at me over the phone for canceling 2 months before the actual date of being there. The woman who owns this particular motel then after my two day stay tried to charge me and for my 4 rooms on bogus charges. The owner called and left a voice message stating they are charging me for “not tipping the housekeeping staff” which is at the customer’s discretion and then when I called and talked to the receptionist she stated the same when i stated i would not give authorization of this charge she said “good luck with that the owner will call you back.” When the owner then called me back she began screaming at me over the phone and having a temper tantrum and acting like a child stating that we damaged property which is false and stated she SEARCHED OUR TRASH CANS and found glass which was from one of our personal cups. She tried charging me then $300!!! Before check out we took our trash and put it in front of the door and tied it up. We cleaned up our rooms and made sure nothing was left. The only thing we left was our beds not made due to the sheets needing to be cleaned obviously. She then stated it was now “property damage” for disposing broken glass in a trash can? I would not recommend this hotel at all, a horrible stay due to the owner and terrible staff. The rooms were disgusting and just not...

DISGUSTING!!!!This place gives dumps a bad name. I would give them zero if I clould. Everything in our room was old a broke down. The only good thing was the ac blows cold. That's the only positive I can say about this room. Every room is different so there are different quilts on every bed. We went with other family who stayed in a room next to ours. Each blanket is labeled with the room number on it. This does not seem.like the place to have.multiple quilts to match each room so how do they wash it and put it back on the bed before the next guest arrives? Gross. Our room had multiple patch jobs that were never fixed, the glassware you could tell had been used and not washed or even checked for that matter and we found a dirty razor sitting in the shower!(did they just pull the shower curtain closed and say "clean") I would have left but it was august and everything was booked. There also is no blow dryer in the rooms. You have to ask for it at the front desk and they actually asked me to return it when I was done. How about no cause I'll need it for my entire stay? In the bathroom the shower curtain was also numbered for the room (it matched the horrible decor of the room) there was a towel rod with ends but no rod?! It was also smaller than a closet.(but you should see the closet, a joke, a hole in the wall, literally) I would never recommend this place to anyone and will never be back.  Seems like they put as little effort as possible to keep this place open. Don't they have some sort of cleanliness standards they have to adhere to between customers? (Change ALL linens, clean toilet, shower etc) it's amazing they havent been shut down yet and how they still have such...

Prices were good compared to other places in OC. We always stayed at hotels close to the boardwalk but prices were getting to be a little ridiculous over there. For the same type of style hotel. Our room was what I expected I just felt it could of been kept up with a little better. I noticed some staining on the sheets which made me uncomfortable and worry if the room was totally cleaned thoroughly beforehand. Through these times more than ever cleaning should be prioritized. Overall though I felt the room was fairly cleaned. The one maid there I encountered was nice. As for my bad experience there was a women at the front desk the day of my first stay. Who was extremely rude right off the bat. I wish I got her name to speak to someone about her directly. I simply walked in right as my family and I arrived at the hotel to check in. I first off asked where the bathroom was because i needed to go. The women immediately spoke down on me and asked if I was even staying there. I responded nicely yes I am we are just about to check in but I could not wait and had to use the bathroom. She then rolled her eyes at me and said it was down the hall. This was really not a warm welcome the first second I walked in.. kindness and respect should always be a given it’s not hard. Lastly I also didn’t love how there was not always someone at the front desk to assist when help is needed. Overall the place was nice and I would stay again probably. As well as all the other employees I spoke to were kind...
