Mattress Firm Old Bridge — Hotel in Old Bridge Township

Lana was rather pleasant and welcoming. This was the second mattress firm I brought my Mother to purchase a new bed, not just a mattress. My mother and I were not too enthused by the first MF location and we visited or the sales rep, however she was able to test out the beds and was happy with one in particular. Upon returning home and looking online, the sale price was still undeniably the best around, so I researched for a different location and Old Bridge was rated the highest in our area. Lana was mentioned several times in previous reviews, all were positive. We left not long after with higher hopes. The first person we encountered introduced herself as Lana and mentally, I was already at ease and comfortable. I am not one to haggle pricing, though wanted to make sure my Mother was happy since she was well overdue for a new bed and well...she’s my mother. I did mention to Lana that I researched online but I did not state much anything else. Lana ended up quoting a price that was lower than we saw ordering direct online which made my Mother happy and of course made me happy too. I highly recommend Old Bridge MF. I myself am too overdue for a new bed and for sure will be returning to Old Bridge MF...

My overall experience was upset by the fact that I entered the store twice, before being recognized. Upon my first entry, I found one person managing the entire store, (siitting in front of a PC, watching something,) who didn't lift their head up for the 3-4 minutes I walked around the store once, to say hello, or see who I was, or what I was doing. I went back to my car and waited for my partner to arrive so we could go in and look together. I was so upset by my initial impression I was thinking to send them in alone and see if they got the same reaction, but instead, we both walked in. This time around the sales rep was far more attentive. We got a name, were asked what we were in the market for and walked around the store. If the second attempt had been our first entry to this location, it would have been a better review. Coming from a retail background, I was off put by the fact that I wasn't greeted, at all, the first time I entered the store. Very personable and professional service provided by associate Timothy. He had great patience, did not try to rush me or talk me into buying anything more expensive than I inquired about or that exceeded my needs but helped guide me to the perfect mattress for my requirements. He also helped guide me to the best deal on sale and associated discount while keeping my needs foremost in the process. I usually buy everything online but my experience with Matress Firm and Timothy made me realize that some products are better purchased in person. I really did not want to buy such an important item (that you spend 8 hours a day on) sight unseen nor was I interested in buying a "mattress in a box" which is all you'll find online. I strongly suggest you buy your next mattress from Mattress Firm. Also know that their delivery is very fast... probably faster than even Amazon and certainly faster than Wayfair. BTW...
