Scroll For What You Want to Know: Nothing "Plus" about this place. Maybe "plus" extra dirt. Cleanliness: Zero. Outside of not having bugs, it goes downhill from there. The sheets are stained and old. It's like a t-shirt with a bunch of those little balls on it. The face cloth I was given is yellow. Cigarette burns on the comforter, and this isn't even a smoking hotel. Apparently, they do not like switching out linen like most hotels. The first day, I woke up and paced around while making work calls, and the bottoms of my feet turned black after about 2 hours. Like completely black like I put my foot in a grill. Apparently, housekeeping doesn't know how to mop or when to change the water. I put a bag of trash near one of their cans near the stairwell, and the housekeeper insinuated that there was a dumpster in the back and that she was doing me a favor by putting it there. Internet: Horrible. Something I specialize in. The average DL is about 25mbs, UL 15mbs, latency 40ms. At night, it turns to sub 15mbs/5mbs. You can forget about streaming a movie smoothly at night. Much less sending files. Another major issue is that this particular place is a relative dead zone for Verizon. This means that if you have Verizon anything, it will not work well. Go 300 meters down the road and 5 bars. Maintenance: One point. Another subject is I am all too aware of. Fluorescent light in my bathroom sometimes blinks randomly like I am in a haunted fun house. Emergency exit signs literally almost falling off the ceilings in one case you can tell whoever put it up there drilled through some wire, looks to be cat6 or cat5, and failed to properly secure the lag bolts. You can literally look up into the sub 2nd floor through 6x8 inch in one area. Brick is missing off the building. Major gaps in the doors where you could literally look into someone's room if you had a 6-inch boost to the upper door jam. Most of the doors are screwed. Most of the lights and outlets work. Parking: Zero. Parking lot is arranged in the most stupid way possible for Americans. I drive 1/2 Ton pickup. I barely fit in the space. The sides are even too tight. The lanes are small but slanted like a Walmart. You can absolutely forget getting a suburban, expedition XL, or anything such as a 3/4 ton truck in here without sticking out. If I didn't have a 120lb steel push bar on my truck and 4 cameras running 24/7, I would not park my own vehicle here. They do have a small area with straight parking. I could easily get a trailer over there, but... I wouldn't want to. We are taking maybe 6 spaces in a block just in a corner. There are tons of signs saying we are not responsible for your vehicle being broken into or things stolen. which, in my mind, means they have had a past of this happening. You can forget about semis or box trucks. I highly doubt they get more business than a Holiday Inn, and those have more rooms and smaller parking lots. I'm not sure what idiot was thinking when they made the lines here. Customer Service: two. They mostly just leave you alone here, which is what i prefer. I am here working out of town and honestly don't wanna be bothered. I bring my own own towels, blankets, pillows, trash bags, etc. The guy at the counter was very quick checking me in. However. The employees park their personal cars under the awning, which leads to check-in. When I came in, there wasn't one of these guys doing this, but two. Blocking up the entire thing. One was even the damn manager lady, I assume, driving an Audi. That area isn't for personal cars. When I was a kid, I worked for a hotel as a maintenance tech. Our owner didn't even do that. That area is a courtesy area for your guests. You will not see Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, Days Inn, Extended Stay, or any other hotel chain doing that or allowing that. I should know that as I am a top 10% reviewer on Google for hotels. They don't have luggage carts??? I don't understand. Did the crackheads steal them? 😳 Cable is super slow.

Room 224: This location has the price and semi clean rooms going for it. I really wanted to give it five stars, but we quickly came upon one thing after another. This Red Roof Plus was renovated once upon a time, but repairs are needed as well as PROPER maintenance. Bathroom: As someone who wears corrective lenses lightning is important. The bulbs were going out in the bathroom fixture making the room dimly lit. If my husband hadn't checked the shower out first I wouldn't have seen the hair left behind by the last occupant. An exhaust fan is visible, but there isn't a switch to turn it on. There is a solid switch plate near the toilet that perhaps used to be the power for the exhaust fan. Feces was smeared on the light switch plate; the lighting may be poor, but you could clearly see the brown. Bedroom: A dirty cloth was used to clean the mirror, desk, and dresser surfaces. There was a dirty residue on everything. At first glance the beds appeared clean. Once I pulled back the covers there was an almost black hair (I'm a dark blonde) under my pillow as well as a pubic hair. We couldn't find anything else on the bed and just hoped they somehow fell off the maid. The beds need to be replaced. As you sit down the springs are popping. They seem loaded with hardware rather than padding. If you sit on one corner the one caddy corner would pop up at an odd angle. There's a crack on the wall seam between the bathroom and bedroom that needs to be addressed. Our room keys got us into the building, but it was a fight to get them to work on the door. My husband had to visit the office to get his properly coded. My husband continually complained of sticky floors. Though everyone was in a parking space, the parking lot looks like it's every man for themselves with the lack of uniformity. They have some spaces against the building then mid stream they switch to the other side of the road causing drivers to swerve around cars. Not to be outdone by a competitors wonky parking lot, they end the row with parallel parking. After observing our stellar room, we didn't hang around long enough to see what they may offer for breakfast. I would only recommend this place if you're desperate for an inexpensive place for the night. In our case we had deviated course then finally pulled off the road because of a storm. I have stayed in worse and didn't feel my life was in danger here so I gave it two stars. We chose them because they're pet friendly.

This place could be so much better if they pay attention to the reviews and update according to it. We had a terrible experience. First off when we walked in the room it had such a bad odor that we had to actually go buy air fresheners and use the Lysol we brought from home to freshen the room up. We bought soda , foods and I had medication that has to be kept at a certain temperature in the refrigerator,it wasn't until the next morning that we realized the freaking refrigerator wasn't even working so all of our food from the night before, including my ice packs for my medicine had melted. We went to the front desk there to speak to a manager but they were not on sight . Told the lady at the desk what happened and she said she was sorry and would see what she could do to help. In the meantime I needed to try and get my medicine in a Cold refrigerator so I asked if they could put it somewhere she said no and that they didn't one up there. After leaving out to go get breakfast the manager called from the office I guess and said he was gonna exchange the fridge so we told him we had small dogs which was caged but would do anything anyway. He laughed and said ok WELL go ahead and go and when we got back he would have it replaced. We got back and he had it sitting right inside the door plugged up which was a safety h hazard so I went back to the front desk and the same lady said he left it there because of the dogs. The dogs couldn't even get out and if he went through the trouble to sit it there he could have put it in the proper place. So now the lady at the desk has to find someone to move it which she finally did once we went back a second time to complain. Once they were switched out the replacement fridge had to be sprayed and washed down as well. I want be staying there again. The only good part was the property where they had plenty of room for the dogs which was free to stay
