Lemongrass Thai & Sushi 3 — Restaurant in Opelika

I've been here about three times. The food has been great, but very disappointed in the service today. When I came to pick up my order I waited for a few minutes before I was serviced even though the restaurant was empty. When I received my order, the bento box was missing all 4 california rolls and only had two dumplings even though their website says 3 dumplings. When I came back into the restaurant, I waited a minute before I decided to "call" their restaurant on my phone to get their attention. The owner told me that the bento box only comes with 2 dumplings and that I needed to "download" their menu vs. use the one that is forward facing on their website. I think the owner could handled that better by giving me the additional dumpling since that is what is advertised on their website, but instead I was inconvenienced by having to wait on an order that was ultimately missing an item that I paid for. This is unfortunately why I stopped tipping upfront. I don't think I'll come back to this restaurant, I don't feel that I was valued...

Visited this restaurant that is just off the interstate. Monday was a holiday so their lunch specials were not available so we had to order off the menu. The offerings were plentiful and the prices, though dinner rate, were not out of the question. We tried the Pad Thai, the glass noodles, a hibachi grill and citrus chicken. Each entree was dinner size and most took half home for later. The food was flavorful and fresh. I had the citrus chicken and liked the citrus sweet and sour sauce. They also offer a wide variety of Curries and a extensive sushi menu. You can up the heat If you like which is a bonus. Though the dishes may not be truly authentic Thai, they are certainly geared to the American palate. I recommend you try them for lunch if you're curious or dinner if you're wanting to splurge. Was a favorite. New owners are a no for me. Food quality is inconsistent. Management does not care about your satisfaction even if they recognize you from weekly solo dinners and have never made a complaint before.
