We brought about 55 people from CHS here after a Robotics Competition in Auburn. We called at the beginning of the week and then called before arriving. Cracker Barrel was slammed that night due to it being Valentine’s Day, but the manager, Corinthia, told us to come on. When we arrived, around 7:45, they seated us in the back immediately. They had no idea what they were getting into with our rowdy bunch! Lol! The hostesses took our drink and food orders. And then, we had prayer and celebrated our fearless leader, Mr. Young. As if that wasn’t excitement enough, Mr. Young’s girlfriend and Team A Robotics Captain’s boyfriend showed up to surprise their sweethearts! We had lots of good laughs and many memories were made! It was truly a special night to remember! To our hosts and hostesses at Cracker Barrel in Opelika, Alabama, this was by far the BEST experience we’ve ever had and it is all because of you! You could’ve turned us down that night, but you saw fit to welcome us into your establishment and treat us like family! We will definitely be back and spread the word to others! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and God bless you all!!!❤️

My experience with Cracker Barrel was one that was just unpleasant. It was my mom's first time there and it not a pleasurable experience. The food was terrible but the manager was very sweet and wanted feedback good or bad so they can provide better service. This was a first and last. The biscuits were burnt, the grits were lumpy, and my potatoes were stiff like they were made that morning. I asked for baby carrots and was told after my chicken and potatoes came out that they ran out. My mom's steak burger was overcooked... Sigh... Please take pride in your brand and how you represent it. Cus I know this isn't it.

We ordered Cracker Barrel online for curbside pick up. The order was over 20 minutes late coming out from the time it told us it should be ready. My husband ended up going inside to see what was taking so long. Our grilled chicken tenders were burnt and the steak bites were burnt. There were no sauces. So no cocktail sauce for the shrimp, no butter or sour cream for the baked potato, no salad dressing for the salad. I emailed the company to let them know and never heard back from them. Very disappointed.

Me and my husband were seated very quickly but, after that everything went down hill. It took the waitress about 15min to come take our drink order. We went ahead and ordered our food to get the order started. I asked our waitress to please bring out the biscuits and corn muffins when she brought the drinks. We went ahead and ordered our food at that time. There were approximately 10 tables with 2 to 5 people sitting at them with drinks already. Then, after about another 10 min (when we finally received our drinks but, no biscuits) and another 5 tables filled up. I started noticing that the other tables were receiving their meals and even the ones that were seated after us. I asked our waitress if she was going to bring us the biscuits and my side salad out. She said oh yes ma'am it should be coming out shortly. Well, I guess she remembered and brought the items out. Then, she goes on to tell me that they were out of vinegar and oil. Would I like a different dressing. I told her no to just take the salad back. Few more moments had passed and I stopped a young gentleman by the name of Luis and asked him if he could get the manager for me. He said yes ma'am but, is there something I can do. I told him thank you but, I needed to address an issue with the manager. Mind you our food has yet to come out. The manager came out quickly and come to find out our order had been lost 😑. The manager assured us that he would take care of us. Luis brought me out another side salad and I told him that I appreciate him bringing it out but, the vinegar and oil was out. He said "Oh but, we do have vinegar and oil" I was like REALLY!!! I told Luis to go show our waitress where it was and I didn't want the salad. We ended up being there close to 1 1/2 and all the other 15 tables were gone that had been there or after us. However, the restaurant manager did make everything right for us. My biggest complaint is "Q" the store manager (found out later his name is Bobby and he just came out of training) he was rude and was trying to be intimidating to us and another couple (that we were talking with). His tone and his behavior was unacceptable. He said " Um is there ANYTHING ELSE THAT I CAN HELP YOU WITH " I turned to look to see what was going on. He said I'm talking to you...I replied no, we didn't need anything and I wasn't talking to him. He then said "Well if you don't move out of the way" my husband interrupted him and said "I know you aren't speaking to my wife like that" Then Bobby said yeah, I took my husband by the arm and said " he isn't worth it" we walked out with the couple and continued our conversation outside. There were no other customers where we were standing having our conversation. There was no reason for him to act the way he was. He needs to go back to training!! He is definitely lacking several personality traits for a...

I came into this store at 8:10 when the closing time was 9:00. No one greeted me, even though I was seen. I walked up to associate behind the check out counter and asked if it was too late to be seated (I would have been completely fine if the answer was yes- kitchens close at different times and I’ve had years of background working in food service and customer service). He called someone from his device hanging on his shirt and we were seated (party of 2). They only gave me a dinner menu and by the time our server got to the table I didn’t want to waste time by asking for the breakfast menu and just asked if I could get whatever breakfast meal came with pancakes and hash brown casserole. He said there was one that came with eggs and I said thats fine. We were there for 40 minutes before getting food and were told twice by our server that the food was coming, but the kitchen had already been prepping to close and they had to reset everything (we put our order in by 8:30). The server volunteered this information- we did not ask about where our food was and made no complaints. He just kept letting us know they were prepping to close. I told him we wouldn’t have ordered if we knew they started closing down at 8 because we didn’t want to cause trouble. He assured us we were completely fine and he just wanted to let us know why there was a long wait. When the food came the hashbrowns were inedible because they were not done (we both got hashbrowns). The eggs and pancakes were good though. We inhaled our food in less than 10 min and cleaned up our own table. Server brought the check and disappeared and I noticed he had charged me for everything individually which brought ticket to over $20. I went to check out and told the cashier who wouldn’t greet me earlier that I was charged individually instead of for the meal deal/ price. He said “ah, sounds like you got a young one who was just ready to get out of here.” Then he went to ring out my current ticket. I asked him if he could be fixed and he responded “Oh you want me to fix it? I’m not usually here this late (it was 9:10 at the latest) and with closing… you want me to fix it?” I responded. No, don’t worry about it and then left. I was traveling. I wanted to stretch my legs after hours of driving and we still have more hours to go but next time I will just keep driving. If it’s an hour before closing, I wouldn’t recommend visiting this location. Maybe they have better food and service...

I couldn't wait to leave this review. It's not major it's just when you know your being lied to.

The food was okay I ordered fish. I asked for biscuits with a lot of blackberry jam. I gave my order I said you get that and I will not disturb you.

The restaurant was packed it took a while I understand waiting on my order I'm looking for the waiter so I can ask when will you bring the biscuits No show 20 minutes later food comes out

Kitchen crew bring food I ask why just bringing the biscuits Well we don't because it sets and gets cold.

What???? I already know why they not bringing it out

My Waiter comes I ask why wait bringing bread he said I had to ask if he knew he would have brought it.

I remember what I said

So how do I work it out. Yes it bothered me so. Since he didn't ask for a Tip do I leave it or not

Not this time he didn't ask even though I know it would be good

If the restaurant want to save money I understand. However the restaurant gets the check money the waiter works on tips. So instead of him saying this is the way they do it now and if I had asked

I like cracker barrel so I'm not bashing it. However it's the small things that help you make up your mind.

The main reason I came to cracker barrel was I wanted catfish and most of all the biscuits with blackberry jam and butter.

I was going to Jim Bob's the next time fish is better there anyway

I'm not knocking Cracker Barrel the biscuits and jam was why I waited so long on the outside to get on the inside and wait another :20 minutes. It was my deciding factor.

I will say cracker barrel it's a good value for the money with a wide variety it's just this time

Next time I will just go to Jim Bob's unless my wife wants cracker barrel.

I did get the biscuits 2 with 2 jams. It wasn't as good as it normally be.

It tastes the same it's because I didn't enjoy the...
