Budget Inn — Hotel in Orlando

We stayed the night here on arriving in Orlando. To be honest when my husband booked this I was dubious but he said it was just the one night before we set off in our roadtrip. However the word budget did set alarm bells off. It was relatively easy to find and the check in was easy enough although the guy on the desk made me feel I'd travelled back to the 70s when we checked in. No lift so although on first floor, as my husband unable to carry heavy cases I had to haul two large suitcases and two Cabin cases up the stairs. This was my own fault, I should have insisted on a better class of hotel. When you have been up since the crack of dawn and you arrive in the US it is nice to have a little luxury. The room was clean and luckily near a garage where we were able to purchase water, etc and some fruit and yogurt for breakfast in the morning. Coffee was fine in the room. Slept well as exhausted, would mention the pool looked lovely but was too exhausted to use it sadly. We were up early the next day and on our way. Free parking...

The owner was amazing. After the 1st hotel which we had reservations canceled our rooms bc my daughter made the reservations in her name with my card is the reason they gave me for canceling my room bc the reservations was in my daughters name and the payment method wasn't in the same name. I was so upset after driving 11 hours b4 they told me it was canceled. So at almost 4 am I had to search for another hotel for me and my grandaughter to stay. But this hotel was clean and they all were super nice. And the owner even gave me a deal on the room and even upgraded the room for me. I would definitely recommend and be back bc my grandaughter has 2 more summit and world's competitions and another competition in April 2023. Love this place. And the people that...

OMG! Do not bring your family here, sleepless night, gross room, Old furnishings, bedding was yucky, hotel lobby is locked and you have to pay through an outdoor kiosk thing (bullet proof glass no doubt!), very sketchy!!! We were woken in middle of night from yelling outside room, car alarms going off. Uber driver said it was a bad area of town. We couldn’t even get a pizza delivered here as all nearby pizza places won’t deliver because of high crime rate!
