I wish I'd seen a review like this before buying my car from this location. I promise it will help you avoid being taken advantage of, so it's worth reading in detail. For a business claiming that transparency is important to them, this dealership is absolutely the shadiest I've ever dealt with. I've purchased two cars previously (from other dealerships - great experiences) and have never run into such deceitful sales practices like I did at Greenway Kia West. If you plan on visiting this location to look at a used car that you saw listed online, be sure to check your numbers carefully, I guarantee that they will change the price significantly from what you saw online. My salesperson told me that in order to get the online listed price of $30K, I needed to finance and trade in a vehicle. I agreed. During negotiations the sales team showed me a bogus monthly rate that was much higher than the car's cash price. I believed that this was based on the reality of the cars online price and my credit, but it was a bogus sales tactic to see how much money they could add to the total price. Do not fall for this like I did. Pay attention to the cash price ONLY. Do not talk about monthly rates. Ask what all of the additional fees are and take photos of every single paper that you are shown so that you can refer back to them in the finance office. Before I even got into the finance office, I had already signed an agreement for the price i was willing to pay, I paid a down payment, and transferred my car insurance only to later find out that they had added in an additional $1,200 to my cash price later in the finance office without disclosing it or itemizing it on my contract. They are great at what they do, which is being extremely deceitful and sneaky with their numbers, so although I felt I was careful and read through my contract, there was still things added without my knowledge. Don't be like me and make sure you compare your negotiation cash price paperwork to the contract. I did not have a copy of my negotiation paperwork in hand because my finance guy (Carlos) was using the back of it as scrap paper to show me an extended warranty breakdown that I didn't want - also part of their extensive training on how to scam you right in front of your face. I tried to resolve this as soon as I realized that there was an unknown fee added on to my price and neither Carlos nor his manager Anas had any care to explain it or fix it. Anas told me the dealership has to make money, which is such a gross explanation, of course they need to make money - that's the point of a business, however their strategy for how they sell cars is misleading and predatory. Although Anas denied it, they are absolutely without a doubt a bait and switch dealership. Not something I expected from a larger company but perhaps it is how they've grown so big. I would give them negative stars if I could but since that isn't possible, I will continue to warn people about this dealership. So final tips if you go here, 1) Take photos of every single paper 2) Do not discuss the monthly payment during negotiations - pay attention to the cash price only and ask what each and every fee is 3) If they claim your car has new tires - check ALL of them. Mine had this listed however the back two were old. 4) When you're in the finance office, do not sign on an ipad. This makes it hard to see your full contract. Ask for a printed version and compare the price in negotiation paperwork to make sure it matches. 5) Ask for a printed copy of your paperwork once you're done. Mine was handed to me on a USB home so I didn't even catch the discrepancies in my contract until after I left. 6) Be fully aware that they are not honest - so take your time and take the paperwork home before signing if you're unsure of anything.. they may tell you the deal is off if you do but trust me - they don't want to lose your sale. 7) Avoid Carlos in finance. He's a scam artist. Ask for...
Read moreI am writing about my wife and sis n law on their experience and mine as well, My wife has been a customer from them since 2015/2016, she purchased 2 cars from them, She had an appointment with them to look for another car , cause other car she bought and paid for was leaking oil. My sis n law drove her to her appointment and my sis n law had a car from Enterprise that day whom she has been renting for years for when she needs a car, she also gets a lot of free rentals for being a long time customer, I have the appointment saved on my phone, However my wife drives home with a new car and my wife and my sis n law find out a month later or 2 that My sis n law is the buyer of this car, They both did not Know she had signed as buyer when this manager told her she was signing as a Co-signor, This was deception, She made a Verbal Agreement along with my wife for her to be a co-signor because of some credit issues with my wife even though their outside windows advertise good credit, fair credit, and even bad credit and she was a customer for them in purchasing cars, getting oil changes etc.. in the past. This is very devastating for my sis n law and my wife cause she and I know my sis n law did not come their to buy no car and she has never bought one and she doesn't even like Kia cars and can not afford no monthly pay on any car that is why she rents one when she needs one, This manager showed her NO policy papers, cost of the car, she was given no registration with to drive car off lot or insurance, she was driving a car she had paid insurance, and she did not give this manager ANY account numbers neither, accept her driver's license to see if she qualified as being co-signor for this car, They had my wife info already and transferred our insurance from other car which has me listed as driver on policy not my sis n law! They have been ignoring both of them ever since with the dispute of this car and I am witness to that in so many ways, too much to write. This manager asked my wife did they want to buy a car together and they said NO! only my sis n law co-sign, they were about to walk out of his office gives them one page to sign here my wife there, He gives registration to my wife , car keys (she picked the car and test drove it ect). all in her name and gave her a flash drive with policy data on it , all this to drive off the lot and to find out her sister had signed as buyer of car, This is total auto fraud with mind you 2 senior citizens who wears hearing aids, and one needing cataract surgery. They said this manager who made this corrupt deal spoke very broken English and could hardly understand what he was saying, He probably couldn't understand them neither, I don't know, but I do know he knew what he did cause once he got my sis n law signature, He had my wife and sis n law thinking , My wife just bought a car and her sis as co-signor , I guess my wife didn't bother to look at flash drive before leaving cause she trusted them from previous purchases, They been ignoring my sis n law from the very beginning, so beware all , Do not take anyone to view a car and especially if there credit a little better, They got one call back from salesman who made this deal and my wife and sis n law were not at home, He talked to me and I told him of wife history of buying cars there and more, He didn't know who I was talking about and lied about my sis n law buying car and was bragging about having her signature I can tell you lots more, But my point is if you have people working there and they are doing corrupt deals , Do Not Go there or bring anyone there cause they may walk out of there with a car they just bought without knowing, If my wife or sis n law saw that registration in my sis n law's name they wouldn't drove off that lot, Very corrupt dealership, they were pretty trustworthy in the past, but not now, Beware!,...
Read moreI debated writing this post so many times in the past couple of weeks, but what I found today was the deciding factor. Before I get into what went so wrong, I gotta give props to my sales team, Daniel and Jeremy, because they were very kind and patient and everything you could want in a sales team. I appreciated them for that, and would recommend them both. Now with the car⌠I bought a 2017 Honda CR-V from here on March 6, 2025. At first glance and first test drive, car is beautiful. First issue that came up: I was told that I was looking at an 8-9% interest rate max with the age and mileage of the vehicle. Ok, not horrible at all. And this was even free explaining my credit situation to them (not bad, not great, and had done a bunch of work to it recently). Yeah, until it was time to sign the papers, and now all of a sudden Iâm at a 24% interest rate. Supposedly itâs because I havenât had a vehicle on my credit report since 2014, but still. I donât see that affecting it THAT much. I felt like I was at a buy here, pay here type place and got the reach around. But whatever, I know I can and will refinance in the near future, so I bypass THAT red flag. Fast forward to April 4th, and I am stranded on the side of the road in 90 degree Florida heat, with my child, because my car that I bought less than a month ago, is dead. Thank goodness I have AAA. They come out and determine itâs the alternator. I decide to email Jeremy and tell him whatâs happened and, while admitting I understood that Iâd bought the vehicle as-is, this was a little ridiculous, and inquired what the dealership planned to do about it. He called me back a few hours later and said that he reached out to his boss and his boss said the only thing he could do was trade the vehicle out. I considered that option, but decided it might leave me even worse off, so decided against it. I didnât love that they didnât offer to cover repairs or even just a free oil change in the future or SOMETHING of monetary reimbursement, but alas⌠so even after THAT, I wasnât going to write this review. Not until today, when I got into the car to detail it, and I find all these things they either didnât do, or left half done, did I throw my hands in the air and decide to come write this. The carpet behind the drivers pedals doesnât even go all the way up, only about halfway, and then subflooring is exposed the rest of the way. What I thought to be stained on gunk on the hood and gas tank knobs came off with just a wipe (so why didnât they do that before selling the vehicle??). On the inside of the door jamb/frame was a THICK layer of dirt/film that came off with some elbow grease and spray. Oh and mind you, the day after I got the car, I learned that I need both hands to lower my visor. Itâs just been one thing after another with this car and I JUST had my first payment come due. I would highly recommend looking deeper when you go to this dealership,...
