Ventura Resorts & Properties — Hotel in Orlando

WORST PLACE I’VE EVER STAYED TRULY (they deserve 0 stars)!! If it wasn’t for AirBNB I would’ve seek legal council for law suit. I rented the RAINTREE HOLIDAY HOME for 2 weeks. These people allowed not (1) but ( 2 ) outside vendors to walk in on me and my girls. I rented the place for a post op recovery as I was healing from surgery. The very first day a female came to the home, I wasn’t made aware, and she informed me she was there to service the “fire extinguisher.” However, she let herself in with a key?!? I though it very weird but informed the administration to please let me know if there are going to be services done while I’’ occupying the unit ( no one never responded to request. Then on day 9 of my stay the “Orkin” man let’s himself in with a key as well, again, no prior announcement or information from Ventura Resorts administrations who rents out the unit on AirBNB. I was partially unclothed and limited mobility due to recent procedure, plus I was accompanied by my teenage daughters. The administration ever acknowledged my complaint or concerns and never apologized till this day. Thank God the “Orkin man “ ran out and locked the door behind him once I started screaming from fear. This experience has traumatized me and my girls as we could’ve easily been attacked or assaulted all due to these peoples negligence, carelessness and lack of consideration. I immediately contacted security who so aggressively monitors the entrances as they should, but was of know good use in a real emergency, only to be hung up on twice by them before I could even speak to them. So I immediately notified the “host”who again is Admin at Ventura resort, to no avail. And I have the receipts and proof the show these peoples lack of empathy and concern for myself and my children’s safety while on their “secure” property. I immediately reported the privacy breach to AirBNB and they acted quickly to get us out of the home and into another location, after investigation AirBNB refunded all of my money for the entire total for the 2 week stay in FL. Never rent or Airbnb from this company. 1 star is not even deserving. Our family of 7 rented a home if theirs in Kissimmee, FL, for 7 days. This home was NOT ready for customers. The pictures they placed on Airbnb are so deceiving, they should be ashamed of themselves. The floors were covered in filth and not mopped, food slung on cabinets and walls of the kitchen, sofas covered with food and/or bodily fluids, pool was so green you couldn’t see the bottom of the 3’ section, pool & spa not vacuumed, broken beer bottle found in the spa, screening surrounding the pool and spa was not entacted in several spots, the pool & spa heating and lighting features were locked and not usable, propane tank on the grill was totally empty, glass shower door of one of the bathrooms had fallen off into the floor, fans broken, ice maker not serviceable, air filters so dirty the registered were blowing out dust, all bed frames squeaked violently, the king mattresses were completely broken down, a screen and window casing of a lower children’s room was broken from a break-in, went to use the oven and the handle and glass door fell into the floor because of loosened screws, not enough towels and wash clothes provided for the amount of people who were staying, several burnt out light bulbs, trash cans overflowing with previous renters garbage. The pool was eventually treated, but it took 2 days to clear up. The broken window screen and window casing was researched and found to be a break in, in June of 2022.
