My experience with the drive-thru today was unacceptable especially if you are giving the supervisor/manager your reasoning and hearing her say to her employee "I believe you", Without being there to see who's right and who is wrong ticks anyone off. There were three employees working outside to take orders. I personally say they were working together because they weren't even separated (I am assuming if you have three people working outside I believe they should one of each corner making sure everything is running smoothly or good customer service). All I can see is the three employees standing all the way back from the poles because I guess around lunch time they get really busy. I never come around this time because usually my times coming to this Chick-Fil-A is always around 7 - 8 pm, So I never see these poles. On my way to drive-thru, I didn't realize that there were more poles leading a path that basically lets you know where the line begins. There's no sign, stating "Line begins here" or a person leading the traffic, there are no cars behind us we didn't pay attention. When we pass the poles, This particular employee which her name is MARY crosses the sidewalk comes through my side of the window (passenger seat) while she drags one of the poles with a horrible attitude and tells us "Oh you can't do that". And we look around and say "I am sorry, what did we do wrong?" She says; "You can't pass the poles and cut in line" at first we were confused because we didn't see the path since there weren't any cars behind us, and we apologized. And there was NO car behind us. She basically made us go around instead of saying; "It's fine just next time the poles start from there cause I could get in trouble, you know a brief explanation". She basically made us go around and get back to the line. Not only were they all standing as a group all the way on the menu speaker but she had the need to give us an attitude.
After we went around my boyfriend decided to just walk in and walk out with my food and head back home so he decided to just park. So my boyfriend stated to Mary; "You could of letting us through, that was really unnecessary have us drive all around just to get back in the line after we apologized for the incident" (when we weren't causing any traffic or a problem to anyone behind us because there were no cars around the seconds we were having this issue). So she started getting rude to my boyfriend and he decides to ignore her (Because you can't talk to her at this point). And that's when he orders and decides to share a word with one of the managers which he goes ahead and explains.
In the meantime, I stayed in the car waiting for my boyfriend to come out. All I see is Mary trying to have someone (I assume a manager to come out and share her opinion to defend herself to say her say and defend herself through the earpiece). The other two that are working with her start gossiping over the issue, and she's talking extremely loud about the issue. So I am listening to what she's saying so I can come out and defend my rights as a customer. Her supervisor/manager a female with blonde hair comes out and Mary is pointing at our car, she decides to tell Mary "I believe you, it's okay" and that's when I decide to come outside of our car to explain to her exactly what happened. Even while I was explaining to the manager/supervisor Mary still had the nerve to out talk me while I was telling her manager/supervisor that she dragged the pole with an attitude and told us to get out of the line and drive around. I expect to be heard, and at least correct the attitude of the employee. I am just trying to get my food and get going with my day. I feel like the manager/supervisor just wanted to hurry up and head home. Mary needs to get her attitude checked. She can't work outside with that type of attitude and negative morals. I am thankful for the manager that took care of the issue inside and offered us free food, we denied it because all we wanted was a sandwich and lemonade, not an altercation with an...
Read moreI’m hoping to get the attention of the restaurant owner/GM.
On 12/14/23 roughly at 2:30pm, an employee by the name of Alessandra took my order at the drive through in which I made payment with a gift card. I made it clear that I did not know the balance on the card and she stated, “we will find out”. Trusting that a Chick-fil-A employee would be honest, she proceeded to swipe my card and tell me the total where I did not have a remaining balance to pay which indicated to me I still had money on my card. I looked at her and expected my card back in which she asked, “would you like your card back?” and I said yes.
The very unfortunate thing is when I called to speak to a manager to report this potential theft of my money and the manager had the audacity to tell me that she was “doing me a favor” by trying to “throw the card away” & that “most people don’t have gift cards of $50” and that the iPads don’t show balances on gift cards. Well, I’m not most people. And even if a dollar was left (which this girl would have taken $30 from me as this was what I had left on my card), it’s my money and I did not ask her to throw it away. If the manager used common sense, he would clearly understand since I did not owe additional funds that I still had money in my card. Why would it be okay for your employee to not give me my card back? This would have been theft if I let her get away with it. Very disappointing.. as I have been a loyal customer (hence the gift card).
So as a warning to others who read this, please keep your cards.. otherwise your money will be stolen. And good luck having the manager on the...
Read moreNo idea why my last review yrs ago and the edit i did from the other day disappeared. We used to live over in this area and like most super busy families, we spend thousands a yr at different CFA's in the area. My wife ordered 2 platters of nuggets Saturday night for our sons post homecoming party. I have mentioned in other reviews that the quality of their chicken changed during/after COVID. We get it, inflation....yada. However this last weekend, the 2nd tray of nuggets didn't get touched by 35-40 highschool kids. Weird right, usually gobbled up! The reason....they were absolutely nasty, not borderline, but literally inedible. Soggy, chewing, awful taste!! We knew something was up when 2hrs into a party, the platter of Pub subs were gone and we have a full tray of uneaten nuggets. If you entertain, you know, nuggets and chicken minis are gone as quick as they are put out. Our catering ordering was over $200 and sadly this is probably our last from this location. I would return the nuggets if my time wasn't worth more than a $100 nugget tray. Beware, if you are ordering catering. Try the nuggets before you leave. I usually sneak a few in the car and would have turned around immediately but had already eaten dinner. Do better...
