I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I paid nearly 2 thousand dollars for sound deadening and an install of speakers/one sub (already in enclosure), and have had nothing but problems. My initial impression was the install looked clean, very neat wiring-job. Except then I noticed they did not use the wiring that I requested. The wiring I PAID for. Skimped me on some skinny wires when my system called for 0-guage. Was not offered any sort of refund or fix when I asked about it. The first 5 minutes I picked up the car the crossovers fell from the footwell onto my ankle while driving, which pulled out several wires I had to reconnect. The sound did not impress at all, which did not make sense as I went with hi-end speakers. Which led me to discover the tune was horrendous, clearly didn't know how to make use of the sound processor. Not to mention the insane hissing the speakers made at idle (Seriously sounded like an airplane 24/7, even if the radio was OFF). It's embarrassing to spend $4,265 total and have parts falling and a system that was better with the factory sound. Now, less than 2 years later, the doorspeakers went out. I'm rolling around with 2 speakers in the back seats, and tweeters. Absolute overpriced garbage. Now I have to find a new shop, and pay even more money to clean up their mistakes.
Reply to owners: Well of course it says you sold the wiring I wanted. I requested and PAID for 0-guage and then when I picked up the car and noticed it wasn't there Steven apologized and said he would give me a "killer deal on a future grille install".
As for "suggesting products of higher quality" I don't believe mmats comes close to my hertz speakers, but I suppose that's preference. The truck I heard there sounded terrible, loud, but terrible. Don't try to blame the speakers, I'm not worried they're blown, I know its the botched wiring job from your techs. Sometimes installs don't go right, I understand. But don't try pointing the finger back at the customer because you think you're right. Years of disappointment and regret getting my stereo install here justify a 1-star review in my opinion. Maybe you should look into only performing installs for products purchased at the store, as Ultimate Auto does. Seems like y'all don't care too much about the install if the products aren't bought through your store....

The owner Steven Paul refuses to stand behind their work despite them not following directions, costing me money when a mechanic needed to access my battery, and just being fairly incompetent to deal with. This shop has been around 14 years and is still riding off the good reputation it used to have. They think that anything that they don't sell you is low quality and that everything they touch is gold. Everything about the shop is pretty rundown including the fact they rent out half of their lot to a tint business. The outdoor sign is old and dirty and the tiny showroom has more Yeti gear for sale than car audio equipment.
I wouldn't have wrote this review, but I just left the shop after giving the owner Steven the chance to back their work. I bet this review will nick his fragile ego and he will quickly respond in an unprofessional manner.
Response to owner with damaged ego: Looks like I was right. No surprise. Steven, your employee Marty did not listen to what I told him I wanted and what I agreed to pay for. I told him no problem and I would be understanding as long as y'all made it right. Before having a chance to have y'all correct your mistakes, my vehicle had a turbocharger issue. Your employees were supposed to make it easier to access my trunk battery, but they made it more difficult than before which cost me two hours of labor at a repair shop for them to access and disconnect the battery. After my turbocharger was back in action, I revisited and gave y'all the chance to make it right. You stepped in and I was no longer dealing with Marty and then you refused to fix your mistakes without charging me $110 for work that your team had already done incorrectly. (I clearly stated exactly what I wanted and I have a message sent to Marty via your website that supports that.) You did not even look into my trunk for two seconds before eyeballing that it was my 2 out of 10 exact same fans that were the issue. Your response was always the same... spend more money and let us do it right.
Thank you for quickly responding to my negative review because that paints a nice picture for anyone smart enough to sort your reviews by the lowest ratings.... all the 1-star reviews have the same common theme: incompentent...
Read moreAsked them to install a remote start system in my car. They did and everything worked fine until I attempted to swap my battery. Had to have my car towed to them to reprogram the system (system should not need reprogrammed for loss of power - DEI (Viper) bypass). After they said they fixed it, same thing happened a 2nd time and I had to get it towed to them again. After that I tried to replace my battery a 3rd time and the same thing happened again. They said they could wire it a different way that should work but they would have to charge me more. The wiring is supposedly under warranty and they should have wired it properly to begin with. Had to pay them to uninstall everything as well (they even forgot to remove a few things). When I picked up my car after the uninstall, I saw scratches on the bumper and a few interior panels were broken. Spoke to the manager (Steve) and was told “sorry” and he walked away. This place does mediocre work and has pretty poor customer service. Please consider other places.
Edit - my response to the owner.
I have copies of my paperwork and both the paperwork and you told me that the warranty would only cover the work done. The work was faulty and your tech even told me on the phone that he should have wired it a different way in the beginning. I can post pictures of the terms and conditions on my receipt and they specifically say that the warranty only covers the labor and work. Nowhere does it say it doesn't cover work on 3rd party products and you're just trying to cover it up. I have no poblems posting your terms and conditions for you if you need...
